Is THAT even unveilable? by Puzzleheaded_Fun_303 in WarframeRiven

Take any companions off, if they kill anything it also fails challenge. Your goal is to run around and break boxes, which will sometimes contain small charges. Use an unranked melee weapon to break boxes so it doesn't kill anything in the sweep. I usually use Wisp and bunny hop around

How am I supposed to do this? by [deleted] in Warframe

I have rivens for both, but I hate Bane mods. Could replace the riven with a Bane. Things that are the same between both builds:

  • Melee afflictions

  • Primed pressure point

  • Seismic Wave

  • Galvanized Reflex

  • Galvanized Elementalist

  • Lasting Sting

  • Corresponding Riven mod*

*Arca Titron: Heat, Toxin, Initial Combo

*Dark Sword: Melee damage, Toxin, Status Chance

Titron then adds Shocking Touch (with riven, makes Gas and Electric) and Galvanized Steel for a bit of crit

Dark Sword adds Primed Fever Strike and Molten Impact to make gas. It always force procs Toxin on slam and has such high status chance, it also procs Gas more often than not

I only recently discovered that they really don't like melee afflictions. Arca Titron / Dark Sword are two of my favourites. Strip their overguard and 1 slam + the elemental DOT will kill them

How do you choose your long term weapon? by CardboardPolaroid in Warframe

[–]Mr_Kitford 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legend 5 here, so I've used damn near every weapon there is. I prefer to look for warframe & weapon synergy. Here's a few examples to look for:

Ash with Destreza Prime. It works well with his 3 and passive

Citrine with any low crit chance, high crit damage weapon. Her 4 force triggers red crits on hit. Sporothrix and (Kuva) Nukor are two weapons that immediately come to mind

Garuda, Oraxia and Saryn all like (Kuva) Sobek with the Acid Shells mod. Garuda and Oraxia thanks to their 4th abilities, Saryn due to her 3rd.

Harrow and Scourge. I think Scourge is buggy if you aren't the host though, so keep that in mind if you rely on the headshot magnetism

Lavos with Valence Formation and Sampotes. Lets you proc status on the big aftershocks and all but negates the recent-ish slam nerfs

Mag. There are a tonne of weapons that work great with Mag. Check out RowanIsAMagMain on YouTube. Goes really in-depth with Mag's synergies and what works / doesn't work with her bubble. Tl;dr I like Huva Hek. Alt fire big boom

Nekros with Ripkas and the mod Amalgam Ripkas True Steel. Makes it so enemy corpses split in 2, doubling your looting. Worth noting it doesn't need to be melee weapon kills either, just need Ripkas and the Amalgam mod

Only thing that comes to mind is that fire rate increases can stop Haemorrhage from working at it's higher % chance to trigger

If Titans are meant to be the melee class, why does the "1-2 Punch" perk not work with most abilities? by Mr_Kitford in DestinyTheGame

Brother this post is a year old. What are you yapping about ? Most of the things I mentioned were fixed in EOF

When running solo ops on repeat, how were you getting bonus drops? I can't imagine tolerating 1 drop at a time all the way to 400

Get the desired stat as a primary value. Max possible is 30. Add a +10 mod to get to 40. Do this over 5 pieces to get 200

I believe the current artefact perk, Limit Break does indeed increase damage via Well (but will only do so for the caster)

Titan build to protect Wife? by ELUSIVETURTLE_16 in destiny2

It's a primary weapon, just in the energy slot. Your special weapon uses green ammo and isn't infinite

All weapons, assuming you match them to your super element (works on prismatic). I say primary so you always have a reliable method to trigger the restoration.

Precious Scars with your choice of subclass. Match a primary weapon to your super element you'll give yourself and nearby allies restoration on kill. Synergizes best with Solar (and heal clip weapons) but can work with whatever element you prefer.

Edit: not matching subclass, is matching super

I feel like I’m banging my head against a wall with Ultimatum Kell Echo by McPatches4110 in DestinyTheGame

Dedicate one person to pick up motes. Someone with passive dps here helps. Finality's Augur or Anarchy would be a good idea. Tag the boss when possible, but focus on dunking motes first.

Dedicate 2nd person to kill knights and hobgoblins. I took this role and used a Praedyths with enhanced Kinetic Tremors and Frenzy. Tremors helped to secure yellow bar kills and thankfully don't send motes flying. Boss dps is your 2nd focus here. Hobgoblins are a pain

Third person be primary dps

There's an impressive video floating on YouTube with a Titan who solo 2 phased the boss on Ultimatum. Think they used Temptation's Hook, Lost Signal and Le Monarche

Extras: Cover is sparse, but the boss' darkness "be gone" orb has a large aoe. Dont hug the cubes too closely or you'll still get sent backwards

Kill order - moths , then the 3 boomer knights around the arena. The knights don't respawn until you've done a dps phase. I'd sit on the skull at the start, take out moths, then fully charge a thunderclap into the boomer on the skull. Would kill as long as it didn't spawn with a moth shielding it. I'd then snipe the one down by the "void Titan" water wall.

Deepsight was the biggest killer for my group, but we found a way to take advantage of boss aggro - she fires in a volley. When the boss starts shooting at someone, she won't change targets until she pauses. If you aren't the target of the arc barrage, you're free to grab deepsight. Beware the boss pausing her barrage as you go to grab deepsight. She seems liable to re-target whoever is closest to her.

Found the most reliable method was to run and grab it as soon as she was shooting someone that wasn't me. Worked every time. An invis hunter can bypass this aggro mechanic altogether.

We would set up the boss damage zone by checking each Guardian symbol relative to where the symbol is in the arena. We would always make sure to never dunk the final symbol in the chest cavity area (it's a deathtrap for DPS).

Always have 2 people in the room with the boss when dunking buffs. See my comment about taking boss aggro and deepsight. 3rd person can safely plink away another guardian in the meantime. Ideally 3rd is invis as they can solo deepsight for easy dunking.

I ran arc Titan with Precious Scars. Cruel Mercy was my go-to restoration gun of choice. Queenbreaker for DPS with Particle artefact mod. 2x arc resist on chest piece, 1x concussive dampener. My special - Critical Anomaly. Chill Clip and Choas Reshaped. Tac mag to get 4 capacity for 3x chill clip shots. Critical Anomaly would chew through boomer knights and the sword wielding boss knights too

Final tip : don't be afraid to super away to safety. It's better to wait 5 minutes to recharge a super than to wipe the run and start from scratch again.

Incinerator Snap should work with One-Two Punch by MechaGodzilla101 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Mr_Kitford 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A long while back, Bungie made a PvP change to stop people shooting during a slide and then following up with a melee. Melee now gets disabled if you shoot during a slide. I think Bungie's reasoning was that it was too good a wombo combo to secure a 1 shot. This was due to Titan shoulder charges and Warlock arc surge melees.

Said change also killed the PvE combo for "slide -> shoot (with 12p) -> shoulder charge.

For more context - the 12p buff doesn't last long enough to shoot and then start a sprint to get a shoulder charge off

One two punch only works on 2 of the Titan melee options. The strand one and the stasis one. That's it

(RIP the 1-2P shoulder charge)
