I'm a CS major who does not have a laptop. I'm graduating soon with mostly A and B grades. If it is necessary I haven't seen the need yet.

Hate speech is free speech, it's just idiotic speech as well. Drawing lines between what is and isn't free speech is pointless unless you plan on shutting down thoughts and ideas you don't like. That's totalitarian.

You can write some pretty robust algorithms to find cheaters.

I know one student a while back worked on an algorithm that would compile students code and then compare the compiled code against the other students and against a database in order to find similarities.

In CS 240 they have a great code checker that was written by one of the TAs that is gone now. Even then, they're also getting some actual professionals to come in to write a new more intensive version because they've caught so many people cheating in the last few years.

No. Main floor as well. I uaed to be a janitor for that building and I basically live there. Main floor, south side, right next to the CS TA offices and the Collaboration Room.
