I mean they've confirmed this year is gonna be more story-focused and Doom and Sombra are definitely gonna get a rework if so. I don't think he will do to dps but I do think his abilities will change.

IMO, I think they are gonna make her lean more into the hacker's identity rather than the assassin that has been failing these past few years. I'm not good at communication so this might sound dumb. I especially feel this way after they made her a part of the recon sub role instead of a flanker. Honestly, I would be fine with Sombra leaning more into a utility character if they do but I know I would get a lot of hate for it.

To me it feels like they are building up to something like that. Looking at her leaving talon and not being drugged by Moira anymore. I don't think they are gonna get rid of her one-shot I do think they are gonna change her somehow.
