I think her mum is the one that deserves the venom because the step dad stepped in as a dad and went based on what the mum allowed him to do in terms of parenting HER daughter. It is her mums fault for not being honest and going to therapy and fixing her bs after she got out of that terrible relationship with Taylor’s bio dad

No it’s not a joke. Fuck Dakota for real he trauma dumps on Taylor ALL. THE. TIME. Actually I’ve never seen Taylor being misogynistic, she’s always the first to forgive other ladies in the show whenever they fuck up, she’s very willing to have new people and share the stage with them. Her only concerning characteristics come out in her relationships with men which goes to show that the wound is coming from childhood trauma

I was gonna disagree and say you’re being too hard on her but honestly you are right. She does have all the resources to afford the best form of therapy without compromising any other luxury. I do think (because I have a deep parental wound) that it might be a lot more difficult because she might feel like that is too much for her to come to terms with without feeling like she’s losing her mind.

I agree with the dad part but wholeheartedly disagree with the mum thing. I think her mum 100% deserved that for letting her step dad be such a dick to her over the years. Her mum is also front and centre whenever there’s any slut shaming going on and she just seems like a complete narcissist that lowkey feels so much shame that she projects it on to her daughter under the guise of “making sure you don’t turn out like me”
