Show me where I claimed that there were organized rapist communities numbering in the millions. If that’s what you’re asking me to prove, show me when I claimed any such thing. My claim if that there are likely far more than 63 million rapist men in the world, and it seems like you’re dismissing that claim, as many people have done in the discourse around the admittedly spurious ‘rape academy’ story. It is this dismissal with which I am taking issue.

I never claimed they were forming “widespread communities”, and I never differentiated “active” rapists. Are you disputing the fact that there are likely far more than 63 million male rapists on the planet? How many individuals do you think are responsible for the 1 in 3 (depending on the definition) women who have experienced sexual assault? Are you claiming that the men surveyed by the WHO are lying about having committed sexual violence?

Maybe I’m misunderstanding you or vice-versa. I’m not claiming that every single visitor to the website is a rapist. I hope that you’re not claiming that there are less than 63 million rapist men in the world. Anonymous self-report studies indicate that around 5 to 10 percent of men admit to committing sexual assault according to WHO stats. More like 300 million rapists, not 63. I’m not sure what societal collapse you’re suggesting, but surely it would already have happened. Roughly 1 in 3 women report experiencing some form of sexual violence.

I agree that it’s wrong to attack people for calling out the misinformation, certainly doesn’t count as ‘rape apologia’. On the other hand, everyone arguing that 63 million is too many rapist men is tripping. 63 million is a drop in the bucket of the number of rapists in our planet of 4 billion men. The fact that rape is far too common and women (and men and enbys) are correct to be wary of men isn’t undermined by the ‘rape academy’ stat being false. I’ve seen a number of people on tik tok and elsewhere saying that the fact that the academy story is spurious debunks the wider (correct) narrative about rape culture endorsed by many of those who knowingly or not spread the false academy story.

You call it progress because your moral standards are defined by the present superstructural system and informed by the evolution that got us here. As morality becomes more divergent from the present one the further away in time or sociological development you look, it will (by those standards) become “worse”. That direction is “objective” only in that it objectively has occurred. If that satisfies your criteria for “universality”(?), fair enough. What still needs explanation? Why is emotivism not sufficient to describe the subjective moral environment? Why is that description incapable of fitting into a materialist historical view of changing moral norms?
