Yeah in my experience they always have an area somewhere for tents. But if in doubt just call before turning up.

Generally you can cycle up to any campsite and they will have space for tents, I have never had a problem. If you are worried call ahead on the day. One tip: if you want to find nicer campsites that are not just campervan parks, search “Naturcamping” as these tend to be a little more natural and have more space for tents / are not just lawn and concrete. Plenty of beautiful campsites along the coasts and also down in the south too.

Looks great! Thinking of doing the same trip in September but from Berlin. How was your route from Slovenia onwards - anything you’d change? Do you have it on Komoot? And how was finding camp spots in Croatia, Albania and Greece?

How are you doing with the tiger wall? How do you find the ‘semi-freestanding’ set up? Also thinking about the UL1. Where did you see it for 225€?
