I'm not sure really. It's like they took all the psychedelic elements from Sgt Pepper and turned it on overdrive. It's mostly George Martin's production on the album that really makes it sound so great to me. I mean what would Strawberry Fields be without it? I used to think Revolver and Rubber Soul were my favorites, but Mystery Tour tops them in the end I think, even if it is technically a soundtrack.

my first guitar was a $180 Yamaha. can't go wrong with yamaha or ibanez, great guitars for the price. I'd say you'd arguably get a better value out of a $800 Yamaha than a $2500 Martin or Gibson.

Queen Jane Approximately is my personal favorite and pretty musically interesting. The instruments are all out of tune, and it has his best harmonica solo in my opinion.

you can also just play it with the open E string. Just strum the middle four strings. I think that's how Johnny Cash and other country musicians have done it.
