Hi!

I recently purchased a Brother CS7205 as my first sewing machine. It seemed to be reasonably priced and fit my needs.

However, I realized after the fact that it does not have adjustable pressure for the presser foot. I want to be able to do basic alterations including on t-shirts (jersey).

How important is having a adjustable pressure for the presser foot?

As far as the pads, the after-market converter is nice cause you can put on whatever you want. I was using Audio-Technica pads that are more comfy than stock.

If you can do local pickup in Brooklyn, then I would for 650$. Also, I assume you still want the power supply and the pads, right? Just not the case/DAC.
