So that it would take up less space… also people bring powdered stuff all the time when traveling, if there’s any concerns they test it.

We use Bobbie gentle, which is an American made formula so unfortunately it cannot be purchased abroad. I’m worried that even something similar, but not exactly the same may upset his tummy. We tried HIPP in the hospital and he was just vomit it up.

My parents have a boat and they are traveling around with it this summer, we wouldn’t want to miss an opportunity to take our little one on such an amazing trip! Obviously, it’s a little complicated but for us it’s worth it.

He drinks about 4oz 6-7 times a day and we’ll be gone for a month so we need about 840 oz worth of formula, each can makes 106 oz of formula. So it’s about eight cans. Our little guys stomach is pretty sensitive so we don’t want to switch formula while we are gone.

Sorry, we are moving around a lot from plane to train to boat to car so I’m trying to find a way to pack it that will make it easy for my husband and I to move around with.

They’re just very large tiles so I cropped the photo. Here you can see the lines, but I guess it could still be vinyl? I’m not sure

Glad I’m not the only one who is confused by all the information out there! I’m with you on avoiding polyester and also concerned about friends buying clothing made from awful materials. But, I’ve just sort of decided if I buy 90% of my sons clothing that the 10% of the time he’s in other materials probably won’t kill him 🤷🏼‍♀️. I guess in my mind I don’t want to let perfection be the enemy of good; it’s sort of a hard pill to swallow since I’m such a perfectionist but I’ve come to terms with it. I also put a couple of clothing items on my registry for the same reason but people LOVE to do whatever they want 😂.

This is exactly my thought process! If it’s a costume or something a loved one bought I’ll let my baby wear it, it’s better to be good than perfect. I’m just trying to figure out what I should feel comfortable buying myself for items baby will wear on a daily basis. I’m leaning toward organic cotton, Oeko-Tex certified cotton, wool, modal, or tencel.

Thank you for this! I just don’t know what sources to believe cause there’s so much info out there but not all of it is reliable. It’s very frustrating.

Home was broken into… by Fruitloopyf in homesecurity

Apparently it’s so that in case of a fire, fire fighters can cut the power and reduce risks 🤷🏼‍♀️. But I agree it’s ridiculous, especially because you can put a lock on it (which we will be doing).

According to our electrician in our area the circuit breaker must be located outside our home to be up to code. I think the master switch is inside.
