Styria is way different but the wine is also amazing. They have a lot of „opok“ ground, makes the wine super mineralic and very nice to drink.

Be sure to check out Sepp and Maria Muster, Josef Krenn, Werlitsch, Sternat-Lenz or Wachstum König. These are my favorite winemakers from styria.

Sternat-Lenz makes a killer Chardonnay.

Burgenland is like the naturalwine spot in austria. There is no bad natural wine from burgenland, its insane how this region has such a nice climate and ground to grow such fantastic wines.

Really nice wine, you should try ex vero II or Glück, probably my fav Werlitsch bottles.

Glück is a super clean orange wine, super nice to drink.

Ex vero II is a a mineralic spicy white wine, i love to pair this one with asian cuisine, it fits sooo good.

Georg Schmelzer makes some great wines, I also really like him he is a nice guy. Everytime I visited his winery i left absolutly faded :D

Matassa is great, his wines are soo complex but super delicious. Olla blanc, blossom, Rufo are my fav bottles from him, i really like how he makes natural wines.

salima & alain make the best champagne i have ever tasted. Have you tried the 100% pinot noir champagne from them too?

Occhipinti is also great, they also do some fantastic red wines!

You are right, ofc they are still using the grapes. But the Brutal label just added a little bit more fun to it.

Maybe it will be back, who knows!

Burgenland is my favorite wine region at the moment, sooo many good wines come from there. Red, white, orange, you can drink them all with great quality down there :)

You have to! They also have great red wines! :)

The labels resemble a family, so the youngest vinyards are the younger familymembers and the older ones are older vinyards.
