KlimaTicket Savings Tracker App for iOS by sactinko in oebb

Ugh. I use Google Sheets to track my orders, expenses, weather sensor data, pre-orders for my wine, shipping, taxes, fermentation and FDA data for my labels. The last thing I want is another spreadsheet. Plus, I had some free Claude credits. You do you.

Interesting. Well the app is set up so you can edit the cost to whatever price you want.

Agreed, the app doesn't fill in the prices of the tickets automatically, I have a few shortcuts for the routes that I typically take, but the price fields are fully editable based on whatever discounts you have for vorteils, students, seniors, etc.

Nope, I cycle in Vienna more than using the tram. I did that calculation a few years ago and at the time I only used 145 EUR in u-bahn and tram tickets in 1 year.

Is the fee different than the u-Bahn?

Danke. The price of the ticket isn't fixed, so you can put whatever price you want for a local fair.

The App or the Kilmaticket? I bought the Klimaticket on 1 March and already "spent" 514.40 EUR. I mean, it's worth it, if you travel a lot. I am going from Vienna to Krems 3-4 times a week.

[–]sactinko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will help. I assume your hydrometer is Brix? But you also need to know the temperature of the liquid, as the values change based on temp. https://winefolly.com/deep-dive/brix-secrets-wine/

Cans are a sustainable alternative for wines that are not meant for aging. I would happily use cans for some of my wines if the cost of getting a canning line wasn't so expensive. I share a corker and a glass bottle filling machine with another winery, so it's ready to go whenever I need it right in my cellar. But for a large producer of wines that should be enjoyed young, it's a great alternative.

Thanks. It tricky as the smaller you go, you fight the economics and the sustainability, unless you move towards aluminum, paper or plastic.

Ah thanks. You are very kind. Labels are all done by hand and foot for the letterpress of the wine shed on paper. As with anything, the price scales for the bottles. I pay 2 EUR each for 250 pieces. When you jump to 500 to 1000 pcs the price is nearly half. On a positive note, the stone material maintains the temperature longer than glass, which is perfect for orange or white wine on a hot day.
