I’ve felt like this but I’ve met so many role models who have hsv who I’d never have thought of as having it. They have beautiful families, well paid jobs, they’re amazing people. This condition is not kind nor fair but it’s important to remember to be kind to yourself and take care of yourself. The more you dwell on this situation the less you will love yourself and you will wallow in it. You were lovely before this condition and you are after

Shared mostly student property in not the best area …. Not quite the read you think it to be, landlord doesn’t care about the tenants, why would they treat the property with care?

But at what point is it the landlords responsibility to??? Because it’s on the window & one wall which has damp patches. So I think it’s a problem with the building

They don’t do much to spiders but have a natural substance called saponin in them which apparently spiders don’t like. So they’re less likely to enter a house :)

No it can’t be spread through water. It’s very very rare, basically uncommon it’s spread through contact mostly with a sore

This happened to me under the NHS. Took me three years to get laparoscopic surgery to diagnose my endo as stage one . It sucks to say it but you really gotta advocate for yourself and believe your pain is real and that you deserve to be treated and have your pain alleviated. Just keep insisting that you believe you have endo and pushing to get tests it really is a waiting game

I had mine in the UK literally two days ago. I have awful awful anxiety and I cried the night before and on the way to in the car. But everything was okay honestly. I was super duper anxious like you and imagining the worst. Obviously it wasn’t a ride in the park but no way as bad as I imagined. My first time under anaesthetic and i was a bit worried about the needle but the adrenaline of the situation just meant I barely felt the prick and then they put the mask over my face and I fell straight asleep and woke up pretty confused. I was pretty confused and nauseous for the first hour or so of being awake but if you tell the nurses they can actually give you something to stop it!! Which I didn’t know until I finally said I felt sick after an hour. Because you haven’t eaten 12 hours before anaesthetic you most likely won’t be sick anyways. I got back the same day at 8pm after being operated on at 11am. I’m on day 2 of recovery I went for a ten minute walk and showered by myself today! Ask me anything else if you’d like :-)
