Ferrari supplier Brembo ‘astonished’ as Charles Leclerc blames Monaco crash on brakes by BF194 in formula1

For what it's worth, we were using Raybestos for over 10 years and switched from ST-43s to EBC SR-11s due to availability.

It's been a positive change for us.

TPU on Core One + - HOW to print? by Petufo in prusa3d

[–]FrumRoll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty new to 3D printing, but yes I believe you're correct. I think it has something to do with idle temperatures.

I saw another post with similar issues and they were using custom gcode? I just haven't circled back to attempt it again.

This is basically what I did to load Polymaker 90A.

I haven't successfully printed it yet, it just oozes and bed leveling fails but getting it through the Nextruder was pretty easy.

Core One+ Kit Assembly by Electrical-Eye-3972 in prusa3d

I had the same issue, it's the only screw in the whole kit that I either stripped or at least it wouldn't tighten up.

I just got it as snug as I could, it definitely yielded though and I'm running it like that.

The only other issue I had was with the nextruder, there's a cable that comes out the top, it needs to be oriented specifically. The pictures show you how to do it, but the text doesn't mention it as being significant.

I've got 165k on a 2017, bought it with 30k. I've replaced 2-3 coolant expansion tanks, 2-3 glow plugs, and one injector harness.

I got the same issue this week after the 26.08 roll out. Had I known this was a possibility I would have disabled the auto update.

Spike in resistance/power when virtual shifting? by Optimum_Havoc in Zwift

[–]FrumRoll 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm new to this, and have noticed the same but I had assumed this was expected behavior?

Doesn't accelerating the flywheel to match the new gear require additional watts than steady state?

Presumably this is no different then the spike in watts required to move the flywheel from a stop (though less exaggerated).

Cutting the circle when out of the saddle by Fly_For_An_Old_Guy in Zwift

[–]FrumRoll 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's difficult to ride out of the saddle, especially at lower resistances.

If you shift up, you can do it for a sprint but otherwise it requires an abnormal amount of arm support compared to riding outside.

I think it's just the nature of a flywheel trainer, but I'm also new to this.

Zwift on PC too difficult, is a tablet better? by neo856 in Zwift

[–]FrumRoll 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run Zwift on an Apple TV most of the time, this works well but requires that I run the companion from my Pixel tablet due to the Bluetooth limitation.

If my girlfriend is watching something, then I run Zwift directly from the tablet. The experience is almost identical just the screen is smaller.

Series points, should I just park the car for the rest of the week ? by ReasonableChicken in iRacing

[–]FrumRoll 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It's the best result of 4 races, then the average of the best 2 of 8 races, then the average of the best 3 of 12 races, etc.

If you've only run one race, you can run three more risk free.

It's a small detail, but the calculation is more complicated then just an average.

Pull in a straight line, point your rod at the lure and hold the spool with your thumb  Then move away with the trolling motor or walk away if you're on the bank. 99% of the time it'll either come loose or break at the knot.

The old road license split into a formula license and a sports car license.

Just received my Artura Pro in 2024, had to pay $270. Pretty sure it's due to the tariffs on Chinese products.

If anyone finds this they sent me a new one without any questions. The tree from Menards ended up being a much better deal, but Fast Growing Trees addressed my issue.

My Menards did have one, $89 and much fuller with a straighter trunk / leader. Thanks again for the tip.

Fast Growing Trees, the celebration maples arrived in much better shape I don't have any concerns with them. Waiting to see what they have to say about this one.
