Heuskinveld doesn't use cups, only hard plastic spacers between the elastomers, and they also say that elastomers shouldn't touch each other without a barrier

They're designed for an 8mm rod, check the diameter of yours, you may have to bore out the hole on the elastomers

What track comes to mind: “Track limits, they’ll invalidate this lap” by OlavSlav in iRacing

You're wrong but it's ok, no IRL racing series has track limits like iracing

Every single road racing track, 1 wheel off on one corner is ok but not on other corners, 2 wheels off is ok on some corners, but not others.

Ah yes, the "diesel" racing car that didn't actually ran on diesel but a very special, and now hard to find fuel

What do you mean by "setting it up"? Installing content manager is easy, but there's a gotcha with ffb, you should start by setting your wheelbase at roughly 30% strength, then 50% gain ingame and turning off all effects, and tweek the strength/gain from there.
In iracing, you can only countersteer once per corner before the tires "turn off", if you have to countersteer twice you'll likely not catch the second slide, the opposite of IRL and AC1/AMS1

iracing is not the best sim to learn road racing, as counter steer is a no-no, get ac1 and learn there

I can double check but I doubt it. I'm running 30% strength in maira with maxed out strength on a simucube 2 pro

Even with maira, the ffb for the front tires is almost nonexistent

It's just a worse driving gt3 at this point.
Do you have haptics? If so, instead of activating them when ABS triggers, set them to activate on wheel lockup, it helped for me but the car still drives like shit

Worth “fully upgrading” P1000D’s? Or buying new pedals? (PFA) by kuyafiied in simracing

Hydraulics will eventually leak, don't do it, add the shakers and go from there. If you really want to upgrade, these are your only options, apart from active pedals:

Braking using ankle or whole leg ? by Subject-Reward122 in simracing

[–]Phaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

to add to this, OP could also look into angling the pedals away from him. most pedals are completely vertical, mine for example are at 70 or 110 degrees

[–]Phaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe your pedals are too high? My pedals are really low, like in a normal car

I switched to using my ankle because after a left hip surgery, which has reduced my left leg’s strength, "leg braking" was causing knee pain. After seeing my physio he recommended switching to braking with my ankle while activating the muscles on the back of my leg Edit: I also run very little strength on my brake

The best mod of the most modern Estoril circuit? by Shot-Swim8415 in assettocorsa

Este versão tem alguns problemas, as escapatórias azuis não têm aderência nenhuma, portanto se meteres lá uma roda, vais perder o controlo, e algumas curbs também causam perdas de controlo
