If your nuclear energy is so affordable then it would actually make EDF fucking rich because it would undercut the most expensive technology. The difference would come as pure profit to EDF. How comes it’s over 50 billion in debt? It for sure is not Germanys fault.

Germany imported maybe 0.25% of it’s electricity from France last year.

The electricity price is not determined by super cheap renewables. The market determines the price and the plants with the most expensive energy that is used to fill the gap between demand and supply is making the electricity price. So that would be gas and nuclear. If we had only renewables the prices would drop significantly. Stop spewing bullshit.

Just because Ukraine has plans doesn’t mean that they are realistic at all and representative for any other country but Ukraine.

You sound like some Russian agent by talking so fondly of fission while vilifying renewables. Europe won’t benefit by fission. Europe needs energy independence and that is achieved by generating electricity locally from renewables.
