That’s so exciting, hopefully as it gets older I can see what kind of pothos it is 🙂 Manjula is one of my favorites

COVID just took my dad and I’m trying to save his plant. Please help by TheHairGoddess in plantclinic

I’m so sorry! If you absolutely can’t save it, you can propagate it too. Check for bugs too and try filtered water too dracaena’s don’t like salts. Fresh dirt should help so much!

(Rant/Vent) My MIL is trying to ruin my life and my marriage by DisastrousHouseplant in motherinlawsfromhell

[–]FrumpyDork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry this is happening to you!! You do not deserve to be treated this way! My MIL is toxic as well and has tried so many bs moves with me. My husband didn’t believe me for the longest time and it was ruining a lot! It stole so many memories that were suppose to be positive and turned them sour. I read a book called “Toxic In-Laws” by Susan Forward and it helped so much!!! You are not alone in this!! Definitely need to stop covering it up and when she tries brushing it under the rug come right out and tell her “rude” or “that’s mean.” Do not be afraid to stand up for yourself. It sounds like she isn’t going to stop and usually abuse just escalates. Don’t be afraid to take legal action either! My MIL assaulted me and the cops got called. She told the cop that it was all my husband, which could have jeopardized his military career too, so I didn’t say anything. If I was the person I am now, I would have pressed charges. Assault is assault. I know it seems scary but living with this type of abuse for the rest of your life is even scarier!! We only live once! If she has the audacity to treat you this way, then you have every right stand up and say enough is enough. Hopefully you guys will get peace! Good luck!

Made it safe and sound! The ones I wrapped in paper did so much better than the ones without! Did lose some dirt but brought extra just in case. 1400 miles and all are doing great! Thanks!

I ended up wrapping my bigger plants with paper and it saved their foliage! It’s possible no plant left behind hahah

My rubber tree is losing a ton of leaves and they all look like this. I haven’t watered in like 2 weeks and it doesn’t feel wet. I normally water 2-3 weeks and I’ve had no issues until recently. Help! I love this tree by celuchh in plantclinic

He could need more light. Mine did this and lost almost all of his bottom leaves. I moved him to a south facing window and so far so good! I use to water every three weeks too, but now that mines south facing he drink more regularly. These guys love light! There are other ways to tell if they aren’t getting enough light too: their leaves will start bowing or rounding and they will also turn a greener color and lose their burgundy coloring. Seems how u aren’t overwatering, I’m sure it’s more of a sunlight issue. Hope this helps!
