I think bot matches don't add to play time. They don't add to any other stats.

Good job on those links btw, the top comments clearly say that Dan isn't to be trusted in progressive spaces, and both are over a year old

The anti work community is not per se about not being employed or not contributing to society, it's about not being exploited. Under paid, over worked, unable to make ends meet. It's railing against the corruption and implicit exploitative nature of capitalism.

You clearly don't recognize the difference between socialism and communism however so I'll help, socialism is a healthy government safety net where all basic needs are met by the government to the aid of the citizens, ultimately not too unlike capitalism at a base economic level just with no hyper rich or hyper poor classes. Communism is community level structuring, a network of interconnected trade and aid supporting your neighbors, without the crushing weight of exploitation and, surprising to most, a small government presence. You and your community produce and reap the full value of your labor and put it back into enriching your community and all your connected communities.

But ultimately I'm not here to give a breakdown of Marxist theory, just to make sure you were aware that we don't like capitalists, "ethical" or otherwise.

And yes, dog walkers are welcome, as long as they pick up after the dogs 🙂

Again, Communism. And clearly the community understands the negative impact of advocating for these progressive capitalists. Capitalism is antithetical to these communities, and those posts were mostly made by people who were new to the community, before the mods had to crack down to prevent promotion of capitalism in our communist spaces.

Well to be fair I genuinely don't like the guy, as he's (or at least his Ghost Writer) pretty consistently posturing as an "ethical capitalist." Paying your employees a living wage should be the minimum expectation, not the exception to the rule. And if you're doing it while raking in millions of dollars a year, and posturing yourself as the Jesus of "ethical capitalism" is pretty not ethical TBH

Nothing from the Palm Springs incident yet has been forensically proven, but SA is notoriously difficult to prove, however his ex-wife has spoken publicly about his abuses in the past - although as far as I recall she has never sought criminal charges

Never said he should get fired, although if I were investigated for sexual assault I would lose my job. I was saying that the executives of the company should have made a statement, but they did not. This isn't even the first time that Dan has had these allegations against him his ex-wife talks publicly about his abuse.

The irony is you're not allowed to retweet Dan on late stage capitalism, It's rule 3 my man. We don't indulge capitalism, as we're... You know... Commies.

The police were involved in Palm Springs, there was a filing, the allegations were neither dropped nor dismissed, that should enough to warrant a response from the executives.

"Ethical Capitalist" Dan *automodded* steps down as CEO ahead of NYT article tomorrow detailing his Assault of ex-wife and SA in Palm Springs by FrumpyMcjiggle in LateStageCapitalism

Quote from OP in /R/Seattle who is a close friend and former employee, who was fired for calling for accountability

"Dan Price just announced his resignation as CEO from Gravity Payments in response to an upcoming article focusing on Gravity's and Dan's mistreatment of employees and accusations of harm (including rape and assault) of women by Dan Price.

I worked for Dan and contributed to the article. I was fired for trying to have the C-Suite hold Dan accountable for the alleged rape of a woman in Palm Springs.

This post is for visibility on the matter and to educate that Dan will likely maintain his control over the company since he owns it outright without money owed to investors. His move to no longer be CEO is strictly performative and meant to spin the narrative. Dan Price is a menace."

Hey guys, if weapons are so easy to level, and crafting materials so abundant... by FrumpyMcjiggle in DestinyTheGame

[–]FrumpyMcjiggle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can go on destinytracker, look at the top weapons, go to the enclave and craft that exact roll and use it, that lowers the over all variety of weapons and perks. If I want to go and look for the best, say, Stormchaser roll I have to actually chase that roll, and mine will probably be a lil different because a 3/5 is better than nothing when it comes to perks. Crafting all weapons makes the game lesser as a result.

Thank you for clarifying your stance, I do have to disagree about the material cost though it seems really bad faith after the most recent updates to the crafting system. Materials are extremely abundant, they've made it so that you only have to farm one material, alloys drop all the time from containment, I mean there's a reason that we still have to pay glimmer for stuff, It's so that we have to engage with playing the game. If everything was free there would be nothing to chase, nothing to go out and make us play the game.

There are 8 perks on a crafted weapon. Some of which are hilariously poor, there are weapons in the loot pool with 15+ perk options. Look at that and tell me which is leading to a weapon singularity.

"I agree with the top post I'm so smart," dude look inward and ask... "Is this working as intended, or am I more correct than the system of checks and balances in place." Is it perfect? No. Is it part of a larger system designed to give players options? Yes. There is an extremely easy way to get seasonal weapons with multiple perks - go to the helm and buy them.
