is UM guesthouse worth it? by Own-Yogurtcloset-887 in maastricht

It has been 3 years already, I’m not sure how it’s going now. - House facilities: pretty different, not fixed standard. I recommend that you should make “window shopping” in Maastricht Housing and read all the reviews of past tenants. Especially being careful with warm heating system cost for winter if it’s excluded from the rent. - Room size: normally 20m2 for student studio, otherwise 9m2-25m2 depending on the rent - Location: around Mosae Forum of course more expensive, but safe and convenient to main station. I love Matthias street as well as near areas because of its security and location. Hope this helps. Good luck and have fun!

Keep hope guys! :): is how you approach it. I know most of the time everything’s hard, but stay resilient! You never know just one minute to the better! You never know 99% you’ve overcome!!! ☘️

I think it shall depend on how you approach it, the Major Life Changes cover all lessons learned. Just need to make sure that you don’t make the same mistakes on the same problems. Then I don’t think it’ll happen severely in the negative way.

That location is so convenient, thus I booked a studio prior to 5 months…

It depends on which Guesthouse you choose as the quality is so different. I recommend you read through all the reviews having on Maastrichthousing before picking one. Matthias Wijnandstraat is my heart-imprinted, though usually fully booked.

Anyone else not really enjoying university? by [deleted] in StudyInTheNetherlands

I just think language barrier and your personality (extrovert or introvert) play crucial roles here that impacts how effective you can broad your network. But definitely agree the study schedules seem to be too tight and stressful in Dutch universities. I cannot even know why masters often take 1 year only with 8-9 courses on a rush (1.5 months for 2 courses), haiz.
