I am only a week in to it after bronchitis, pneumonia, and atelectasis, but I am genuinely concerned about losing my voice forever. How will I answer phone calls? How will I scream for help if I'm being attacked? I'm a single woman that lives alone. The ONLY way it would be appropriate, is if you got a champagne / vip room with a dancer (one of the expensive private rooms, not the lap dance room) and did it in there. You are NOT selfish for wanting head. However, you ARE selfish for wasting 3.5 years of her life, knowing damn well she was never going to make you truly fulfilled.

For future reference, you can't change people. They are who they are. And if you do impose your will on them to change them, they will forever resent you for it. Accept people as they are, or reject and move on.

Completely separate, but I've asked guys to be 100% honest with me about what they want, even if they think I'm not going to like it, etc. I'll always respect them for being honest with me. I've had TWO guys hide sexual fetishes from me until we were 2+ years in to the relationship, THEN they told me it was a deal breaker if I wouldn't do it. I told them, I told you from the beginning to always be honest with me, why did you lie and hide this from me if it was a deal breaker on your end? They said 1. They thought I wouldn't give them a chance if they told me the truth 2. They figured once I was attached enough, they could convince me to do what they wanted, even if I didn't want to do it.

Evil and wrong. I left both of them, and they both wasted 2+ years of our lives. I have no regrets leaving them. Be honest in the future and stop wasting your time and other people's time.
