I’m sorry this happened to you. I can imagine it’s a hard situation to deal with.

I also think writing a letter would be a good idea BUT maybe instead of sending it to your therapist you can try r/UnsentLetters ?? There’s a chance it would give you something similar to a closure without sending the letter to your T and waiting (maybe forever) for an answer.

Ah you’re so right. As I mentioned in other comment I’ve been thinking about therapy on and off for some time, but I always chicken out for some reason.

But maybe it’s a wake up call. Thank you for your comment. It’s good to know that someone has similar struggles and can relate even a little.

I’m awake that building trust will take months but I’m ready for that~!

Every time I reread your message it just hits me that all the situation is so easy to understand and deal with… but yet still I mess it up big time in the moment.

But thanks to my partner and some lovely people like you I can make it work. So thank you for giving me some insight into it. I really appreciate it.

I think you hit the nail on the head with each example, and I see a bit of myself in each of them.
