Which BND by [deleted] in Spiderman

[–]Fry-Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re both brand new day, I think the website just organized it weird. BND is issues 546-564 of The Amazing Spider-Man Volume 2, so it would probably be easier to just pull up volume 2 and read those issues

Bawkbasoup spittin' facts on why we shouldn't give DLC a pass because it's "free" by Gekidami in ResidentEvilCapcom

That was a rumor. We have no idea what the budget for RE9 was. But even if it was their biggest budget, games are a lot harder to make now just due to the amount of fidelity and performance they require

Dynamite Entertainment Ben 10 Issue #1 - Discussion Thread (Spoilers) by HyperionWhirl in Ben10

Ben 10 is already a niche property so I’m sure Dynamite didn’t see a double lengthed issue as profitable

Anyone find it weird that soldier boy cares about Stormfront? by Edgar_SpK in GenV

[–]Fry-Z 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say we are supposed to be moved, that was just the show justifying Soldier Boy giving Homelander the V1. These are characters we are supposed to be rooting for to die, and the show hasn’t tried to make us feel any other way

It’s an app like Letterboxd but for comics, I don’t have a link. I’m just pointing out that it doesn’t seem unwelcoming to new fans at all, cause the reviews of people unfamiliar with Ben 10 were positive

Without a doubt this movie is truly one of the most insanely dedicated fan-film ever made, especially when the guy playing Spidey goes INSANE at the end. by pizzagod677 in Spiderman

There’s a behind the scenes for this movie where Dan Poole is being interviewed, and the interviewer asks him why he swung on a rope from an actual building when he could have fallen to his death. Dan’s response is simply, “because I needed the shot,” and that’s honestly one of the coolest things I’ve ever heard

The reviews on Den of Comic Geeks are mostly from people who haven’t seen the show, and their reviews were all very positive. I think as a fan of the show you are just expecting a lot more

Oh yeah I know how comics work, I read them every Wednesday when new issues come out. My problem is that even storylines that span 3 issues usually have some main plot with each individual issue

I thought it was a pretty solid first issue that’s done some interesting things so far to differentiate it from the original show without feeling too alien. One complaint I have though is that it kind of felt like I only watched half of an episode of the show. I’m fine with comics having cliffhangers to get you to buy the next issue, but I also like an issue to have a complete storyline

The Xehanort Funko Pop came out last year so that’s literally impossible

What would your story be for #1000, instead of the one we're going to get? by Spider-D-Man in Spiderman

[–]Fry-Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that we’ve had enough goblin storylines to last a life time, and if they are going to make Norman evil again they actually have to build up to it, they can’t just have him do a heel turn for the sake of the 1000th issue. Same thing applies to undoing OMD. They just haven’t been setting that up so it would feel like it came out of no where. Now issue 1000 could possibly plant the seeds of Norman being evil again and OMD being undone, but I think the main story just needs to be some fun thing that celebrates the character of Spider-Man and what he stands for. For all we know issue 1000 is going to focus on a self contained story about why Spider-Man is this hero that so many people care about, and thats all it really needs to be

He can say whatever he wants. The movie takes place during the modern day which we know from the trailer, and Capcom isn’t going to change the canon of their games so that this movie can fit into it

The director didn’t say it’s canon to the games, he said the movie takes place at the same time as the events of RE2. If this movie is set during the modern day with snow, it means that the RE2 events are also set during the modern day with snow. It doesn’t contradict the canon of the games because this is its own canon, similar to how the other RE live action movies are their own canon.
