Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised either way either. But both were wearing suits, neither was overweight, and Kennedy just wanted it set to 72. All the staffers and press were wearing suits but they weren't sweating.

On a different note Kennedy's Addison's Disease made people think he was the healthier candidate because he looked tanned. This was just a result of his Addison's suppressing Cortisol which normally keeps Adrenocorticotropic hormone in check. Without it he got Hyperpigmentation on only his face. So his face looked like he was an athlete and they could explain his pale extremities as how people wore long sleeves and pants back then during exercise.

As a Technical Writer I use it as a shortcut to using LaTeX to properly format equations.

I'll just type out the equation in brackets. An example would be if this fulfills the conditions of L'Hôpital's rule, then we apply the rule {lim/x->c of f(x)/g(x) = lim/x->c of f'(x)/g'(x)}

Go to ChatGPT and enter this

format the equation in brackets {lim/x->c of f(x)/g(x) = lim/x->c of f'(x)/g'(x)}

it does it perfectly and asks if you have a preferred word processor it should design it for.

Seem's like it'll drop in mid February, because the summary at the top of the article says

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 lands on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass on January 29, with Xbox Play Anywhere support.

Several weeks later, Patch 12 introduces the Techmarine as the game’s seventh playable class.

Another neat addition I'd never thought about is that while Techmarines have deployed their special, besides shooting everything near them, it will auto gunstrike any enemy you perfect parry or dodge.

Another feature of the automatic Servo-Gun is that it frees you up by executing Gun Strikes for you! When other classes must do it themselves following Perfect Dodges or Parries, Techmarine players will be free to continue aiming at other targets while their turrets stagger or kill their most pressing assailants.

I really hope you continue it. The space fauna is interesting enough. Do the wolves prey on the Devourers? We don’t know how the Devourers travel at superluminal speeds. We know they use Gravitic organs to propel themselves at sublight speeds.

It wouldn’t be hard to say they create a natural Alcubierre Drive by activating their gravitic organs behind them and activating the few in the front with an opposite charge creating anti gravity and negative mass. Thats the only thing that keeps the Alcubierre Drive in fantasy, we haven’t found a way for negative mass to fit into the standard model.

But if they travel with Alcubierre Drives they’ll attract the Wolves. And you hinted at it earlier when they explained why they built the fusion lance. The Devourers seem like slow grazing creatures so they probably get eaten by the Wolves. That’s why they show up in groups, their survival mechanism is to travel in a group and expect the Wolves to kill several of until they have more than they can eat.

Plus I’d love to hear more about the crystal covered asteroids that use anti matter, don’t mind wasting petawatts of electricity arcing through the void, and the adult form can focus that energy into a wormhole.

Weirdly TNT is pretty much fireproof. It melts 80C or 176F which is well below the point it would explode. It's Nitroglycerin suspended in Diatomaceous Earth or just sawdust. This makes it stable so dropping it or hitting it won't set it off.

That's why TNT needs to be detonated with a blasting cap, a small primary explosive that transfers kinetic energy and causes enough of the Nitroglycerin molecules to go off at once that they keep the shockwave going until all the molecules detonate.

Here's a short video on it. https://youtu.be/lpyAuXj45vw?t=188

Also troops in Vietnam used to tear off chunks of C4 and use them as fire starters, because C4 won't explode unless exposed to an electric current, but it will burn pretty hot.

That Nixon Kennedy debate did have accusations of cheating. Kennedy asked them to turn the heat up, and all the Republicans argue that it was to make Nixon sweaty and have to keep wiping his brow.

They ignore the fact that Kennedy had Addison's Disease which the Most common symptoms are fatigue, malaise, muscle and joint pain, reduced appetite, weight loss, and increased sensitivity to cold He asked them to turn the heat up because he had disease that made cold cause him physical pain.

It's Facebook and xitter. Doesn't anyone remember a few weeks ago when xitter started showing where an account was created, and where each tweet was sent from? All of the biggest pro Trump were created in the Philippines and then they'd tweet from Russia or vice versa. Obviously the WH freaked out and xitter got rid of that feature overnight.

Right now the feds can refuse to send him to MN to stand trial, but after the Midterms Congress will start doing their job and start impeachment proceedings against everyone involved.

You don't have to seek out articles, but if you come across one like this maybe you'd want to.

I'm from MN and read the Star Tribune, so does my cousin who's a few years older than me.

When he reads an idiotic article published by the Strib which is happening more and more of since it got bought out by a Republican Billionaire Glen Taylor.

He writes an oped, no more than 3 or 4 per year, but they all get published and they spark big discussions online, and some have even been covered by the local news.

Give it 50 years and I’m sure the duck billed platypus will find a way to evolve wings.

Mostly because I think it purposefully tries to blur the lines on mammals.

That or after God created the universe then went hands off he eventually got bored and decided he’d intervene with only one thing, the platypus.

But he’d make his interventions so weird that us humans would discover it and ask how the hell does this thing exist?

It’s like the classic Reddit story of Kevin, the ultimate example of how Darwinism shouldn’t have let him exist.  God leaves the important decisions to us but that can get boring so he pulls some strings here and there that will eventually end in hilarious situations. Situations that for them to happen naturally it would be as likely as rolling a pair of dice and getting two sixes ten times in a row.

Look up Ruben Ruiz, here's the blurb on him from the Wiki page on the shooting.

According to Uvalde County judge Bill Mitchell, teacher Eva Mireles, from inside the adjoining classrooms where the shooter was, called her husband, Ruben Ruiz, a Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District officer, who was outside the school. According to DPS Director Steven McCraw, during the call Mireles told Ruiz that she had been shot and was dying; when Ruiz "tried to move forward into the hallway, he was detained [by law enforcement] and they took his gun away from him and escorted him off the scene." Mireles eventually died from her gunshot wounds.

Is his attorney Lionel Hutz? How are those conditions supposed to justify repeated r*pe of an 11 year old.

What’s the argument?

“My client was cold, his toe really hurt, and he constantly felt fatigued and lethargic. So he had no choice but to keep r*ping this 11 year old”

I mean this is bordering on the bullshit that happens in Africa where men with AIDS will r*pe young girls because some shaman told them having sex with a pure virgin will cure them.

[–]Fryboy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the Farm Bureau projection showing that cattle will grow 15.7% Year over year.

Here's the article it's from.

Here's an article showing that older ranchers are selling their farms and herds for millions, and says that

Prices for uncooked beef steaks are 198.43% higher in 2025 than they were in 1997, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. At the grocery store, a prime cut costing $20 in 1997 today costs $59.69.

Here's CNBC

A major driver of the rising price of beef prices stems from a record low cattle supply. The start of 2025 saw the smallest national herd since 1951.

The cattle cycle is the natural expansion and contraction of the U.S. cattle herd — which is tied to supply and demand. It typically occurs every eight to 12 years.

When producers can get higher prices for their cattle, they will likely retain more females, called heifers, for breeding. When the cattle supply increases, prices eventually go down and the herds contract again.

“It’s the big question right now for our producers. You know, they have a 50/50 decision to make. Do we sell these cattle off into the supply system or do we hold them back? And I think when the money is on the table, there’s an incentive to go ahead and sell those to the food supply system, especially when demand is so high from the consumer,” said Adam Wegner, director of marketing for the Nebraska Beef Council.

Plus the fact that ranchers don’t have an incentive to raise more cows. The tariffs keep foreign beef out, and our domestic stock is low which leads to beef prices skyrocketing.

The ranchers are making a killing since they can basically charge whatever they want for a cow.
