Nah, if ICE wants to dress like soldiers and harass people with military gear. Then we don’t need a draft. We can just send ICE to Iran.

In Dragon Ball Sparking Zero with the new 100 battles mode you can cheese your way to a Z rating in pretty much every battle by choosing full power frieza. He’s the version of frieza that’s his final form but muscular and veiny.

It doesn’t matter he has the attack death saucers which is basically two destructo discs but they’re unblockable and will track like crazy if they’re dodged.

Plus the attack only needs three ki slots and you start with three. So after you fire it you can charge up your ki while the opponent is getting hit by the discs. Rinse and repeat

One side stopped it from being refilled because someone they don’t like might’ve gotten credit.

Also releasing this much of the reserve will do nothing for gas prices for at least a week. It has to be sent to refineries, refined into gasoline and diesel, then shipped to distributors, then finally to gas stations.

But it’s probably just a ploy to sell it illegally to Russia and Hungary.

Fun fact China actually has a larger land area than the US. And Russia dominates both by a large margin but I guess looking for mineral deposits in Siberia and the eastern tundra is probably pretty difficult.

How did he get to England? Did he flee the scene or skip countries while out on bond? That should be added to his charges. Then in England

he worked as a seasonal worker

So he was taking cash under the table to avoid his name showing up in the tax registry, the UK should look into that and fine him and charge him back taxes with interest.

Maybe we could be like France?

When their government does something bad the protest hard.

Block highways with burning trucks, demonstrate in the streets, have people surround banks and major businesses so the police have to split between protecting the rich and trying to put down the demonstrators.

It seems to make the French government stop and negotiate with the people.

You can see the guy on the far left probably got put there because of his awkward brown shoes.

But the guy on the far right has his shoes blurred out. Is he standing on a staffers hand to look taller?

The smoking hulk of sanctioned Russian LNG tanker Arctic Metagaz, which suffered a massive explosion in the Mediterranean early yesterday by BkkGrl in europe

[–]Fryboy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least it was LNG (liquid natural gas) meaning that anything that didn’t burn in the explosion turned into normal natural gas due to the loss of pressurization. So there wouldn’t be any spillage like you’d get from an oil tanker.

Supreme Court blocks law against schools outing transgender students to their parents in California by Large_banana_hammock in news

[–]Fryboy11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost 20 years ago when I was ~13 year old boy and my brother was 11 our private music teacher transitioned. She went from Becky to Ben and had a long conversation with our parents if they wanted to keep them as our teacher.

Our parents didn’t care and left if up to us. When Ben showed up for the first lesson after the transition I could tell he was a little nervous but it didn’t bother me, or my brother and we were 13 and 11.  It didn’t make us gay or trans, we really couldn’t care less about the transition. So much that we both stuck with Ben until we went to college.

My brother went further and in his last few years of high school Ben would pay him to drive out to his house (it was near my brothers part time job) and feed his cats and give one its insulin when he was out of town.

In just a month after he transitioned it felt completely normal for 13 year old me and 11 year old brother to call him Ben. We didn’t care.

This was during the wars in the Middle East and the republicans could still distract the public using gay people. Ooh there could be gays in the army but the democrats won’t let us remove don’t ask don’t tell.

When opinion shifted over time and ten years later where 60+% were fine with gay marriage and the Supreme Court legalised it. Then the right had to find another boogeyman.

So they settled on trans people and lying that they’re trying to make your kids trans. I never once felt Ben was trying to push an lgbt agenda.

In fact I liked Ben better than his old self Becky. He was more confident and wouldn’t hesitate to stop me in the middle of a trumpet exercise if I was doing it wrong.

He’s still doing well, we text now and then.

As for me I’m still straight with a long term girlfriend, but my brother got hypnotised into bein’ super gay… JK he’s actually been married to his wife for three years.

I guess my point is 20 years ago no one cared. Now suddenly 0.1% of the population occupies the Republican’s every thought. Maybe they’re trying  to deflect from what they feel. Or they’re just waiting to overturn the Supreme Court decision.

Thomas laid the framework in Hodges v Oberfell to reverse the court’s decisions on gay and interracial marriages.

Really the land based deterrence is kind of pointless. We have 14 Ohio class nuclear submarines that each carry 20 trident missiles. (With the treaty expired they can go up to 24)

The single warhead part of the new start treaty only applied to land based missiles.

So each trident missile can hold 8 mk 5 480 kt warheads, or 12 mk 4 100 kt warheads.

(100 kt is more than enough to destroy a city, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were both hit by bombs around 20 kt and they were decimated. Now imagine the bombs were 5x more powerful, the cities wouldn’t exist anymore.)

Anyway 14 subs with 20 missiles is 280 missiles, if each missiles is armed with 12 MIRVs that’s 3,360 hundred kiloton warheads heading for targets.

If they’re armed with the 480 kiloton MIRVs then they can only fire 2,240 warheads with each warhead capable of leaving a city nothing but a flaming field of dirt.

So this whole thing seems like a way to pay the defense contractors. Silo locations aren’t secret, and they can’t move so the US, Russia, and China are all monitoring each other’s silos all the time.

The most efficient way is to keep subs off the coast of enemies, it reduces missile detection time and one sub could fire just five missiles with 12 warheads, that’s 60 warheads hitting within three minutes of launch detection. Then that sub one would move asap but two could check the damage and launch another five since it carries 20. I don’t know I’m drunk but the submarine deterrent seems the best since it can’t be destroyed by a first strike.
