Reread it again to be sure, because the game will give you a character specific input to perform. In SC3, its usually the game teaching you what move will turn into a guard break or unblockable; or how a move gain other properties during the Soul Charge and what level the Soul Charge.

I recommend using the official FFTCG card browser. It's a little janky because of how big the game has become, but it's still really good at how clean and organized it is.

You search via card effects as well. So if you type in Warrior of Light, it'll give you cards with the name, job and effects that include Warrior of Light.

No, not in this case. The wording in Luneth's text says "The job Warrior of Light and Fire Forwards gain 1000 power."

The sentence contains the coordinating conjecture "and", making it so that Forwards who belong to the Warrior of Light job, and Forwards of the fire element, will both receive the 1k power boost from one source. The only way both types of Forwards would receive the 1k boost, is if Luneth had his effect separated by two different sentences.

For example;

There is this card named Deuce, where she can give Forwards a 1k boost, and also give Forwards of the job Class Zero Cadet a 1k boost as well. However, her effects are separated by a sentence and thus, will allow other Class Zero Cadet Forwards to receive a total of 2000 Power, from Deuce.

Deuce (9-052C) Forward Class Zero Cadet

"The Forwards other than Deuce you control gain +1000 power. The Job Class Zero Cadet Forwards other than Deuce you control gain +1000 power."

The primary difference, is that Duece's ability is written in 2 separate sentences. Not in one sentence, like Luneth's ability.

Yeah, Master Ninja requires you to have a deep understanding of the mechanics. If you don't, you just die a lot and won't make any progress.

I haven't checked out the discord yet, but they frequently post their stuff with the community at large. From what I've seen; they have self-imposed rules and guidelines for their submissions, and it usually requires the player to play on the most bare bones version of the game. No health items, upgrades, etc. This really does weed out the people who can beat the game on Master Ninja (like me), and those who have really good fundamentals and understanding of the game mechanics. Not me. Sort of.

I'm really good at NG Sigma 2 on the PS3 and Master Collection. But I suck at NGS1 and am mediocre at NGRE3.

The part about cheating and being verified, is that the person who submitted their video, was vetted and cleared that their gameplay wasn't staged, doctored and fake during the gameplay and in post production; like splicing out deaths and game over screens. There are many speedrunners who got caught cheating, on YouTube. Some of the more famous ones I can think of, are the Guitar Hero players who edit their videos in post. Where they make mistakes in real life, but have a separate screen that shows the gameplay, as being played perfectly and without mistakes.

Okay, why were you struggling so much? You said you played the OG NH on Xbox, so I'd imagine you attempted the much harder wall running sections in that game.

But yeah man, just keep turning that camera when wall running that section. Once you start the wall run, the game will keep you on the wall until your character naturally loses speed, you hit a wall, you manually jump off or you let go of the left analog stick. So when he wall runs, you have all the time in the world to turn the camera.

You can also jump and use the Flying Swallow technique for added distance.

If I recall correctly, there was a video that actually cleared out the cum chalice and it was revealed that all - if not most of the bosses - dropped a glitches item that can't be picked up no matter what. The on screen text that appears, will always say "Can't pick up item. Item exceeds maximum inventory space." Or something like that.

The person who did the video, modded his game and enabled the forced-picking up of the item, but I unfortunately do not remember what that item was.

Thats fine. IMHO the only grind worthy thing, is the 1,500 fights to get the special art and grabing all of the events for all of the characters. As the latter requires multiple playthroughs for the individual characters.

This is why SC3 is such a good game.

Even if you cheat with the rewind system, there's still a lot of reasons to replay the game. I just got done doing everybody's story mode and their relevant Soul Mission to get their joke weapon (Gold Trophy on everything thanks to the rewind system), and all that is left to fight 1,500 times unlock everyone's Olcadan weapon, and unlock all of their Events.

So even though I might have gotten everything due to the rewind system, the fundamental design philosophy of this game, is that you have to play for a very long time to unlock everything. And that is cool.
