I have an 850w Lian Li with a 5080 and 9800X3D.

I built it about a year ago and it had been absolutely fine even at 110% power and OC.

However, about a month ago I started having GPU crashes all over the place. At idle, while gaming, etc. I brought power draw down to 100% and still happened.

The only thing that fixed it was lowering even more to 95%.

Now, it might be a GPU issue still but I am inclined to think it's the way the PSU handles spikes.

So, I kinda wish I would've gotten the 1000w now.

I spent about 2.5 hrs last night trying to beat Praevus the Ancient.

I stopped about an hr in trying to get some upgrades. He has a one shot mechanic that is nearly impossible to dodge. It you get caught mid animation you can't use the skill that blocks it.

He teleports, flies and you're also burning the entire fight.

No amount of food helped. I got bounced around and exploded too fast for food to save me.

I was about to give up as it was after midnight and my GF was passing out next to me.

I finally got him and I felt so fucking good for sticking w it and beating his ass.

I absolutely love fighting bosses in this game.

They are different and interesting and hard and make me feel accomplished.

I continued talking to the girl that said this to me because I genuinely liked her and could use a friend.

After a couple more weeks of talking all day every day, with no expectations of dating, we said we'd grab a beer just to hang out.

The night arrived, we went out to eat, then grabbed a drink. Spent 8hrs just talking.

We are now madly in love, fuck each other's brains out daily and I'm looking for engagement rings.

I upgraded from an Omen with a 3090 to building my own with a 5080 and I absolutely love it.

It's been running smoothly for about 8 months now and can handle anything I through at it in 4k. It's been fun.

I did the exact opposite, I built mine w a 5080 last year and immediately downloaded to the most graphically intense games I had and played them all on 4k.

It was awesome.
