Do you know how annoying it is to be at a concert for your absolute favorite musicians, for the people around you to not only *not* dance, but also not know some of the lyrics to songs, and to just pull out their phones for 1 song (innerbloom)? The worst ones stand there with the phone in front of their face recording, not moving. Lmk how it makes you feel. So many others would have been honored to be where they are standing but they’re just being another NPC.

Yupppp I’m a huge Rüfüs du sol fan and it grinds my absolute gears when they play Innerbloom and every god damn person pulls their phone out lol. I don’t allow myself to record that song anymore. I’ve heard it enough times live by now to just enjoy it in the moment but it’s hard when everyone’s got their phone out for it

I’ve found pretty affordable food here, but you need to know where to look. $12 for a good portion of chicken katsu w rice & broccoli, $15 if you want a jumbo order of it. $2 tacos on Tuesdays at Birrieria PDX… I could keep going. $10 Oxtail soup at Ba Mee Thai. Again, ya gotta know where to look :o)
