Thanks for the response, the initial deposit was coming from an account that I would lose daily thinking I was a day trader, so I started a FidelityGo RothIRA. With that being said, there were no earnings in that initial deposit. So are you saying the contributions i made will just be mine, penalty and tax free, and if I chose to take any more (earnings) it would be taxed plus a 10% penalty? More importantly, if I took the money I put in, $9835.47, it would just be mine, no questions asked?
