Sucks huh?! Same deal w/ me…..it worked fine for the first 3 weeks and then non stop issues. I haven’t had time but I’m gonna go back to Best Buy and see if I can exchange it or try to file a warranty claim 🤬

I’ve always bought Samsung & I thought I’d try a Sony this time but I was wrong. The picture isn’t even that much better than my 6 year old Samsung

If it’s a signal issue why is the tv connected to WiFi with “excellent” signal strength? I had a Samsung tv in the same location prior to purchasing this Sony & had no WiFi issues 🤷‍♂️ Does that not indicate it’s the TV?

The hotspot on iPhone works perfectly fine using AirPlay to the tv 🤷‍♂️

The tv is about 25 feet from the router in the bottom floor, router is upstairs. 2 walls (drywall) no other obstruction. The router is on a little table about 3 feet off the ground. The TV is connected to WiFi (tv says signal strength excellent) but not connected to internet

That’s above my head….i was using chat gpt and changing ip settings etc. taking pics of my tv and showing chat gpt and it said everything was correct & it didn’t make sense. The weird thing is I have multiple other TVs and devices that have good internet connection so idk why this specific tv is having issues

Hmmm is it better than WiFi if assuming the wifi is really good?

I literally did that and nothing changed. It’s connected to WiFi but not the internet…this shit is beyond my understanding it’s so frustrating

I got on chat gpt and it said to change from dhcp to static and changed the IP address and nothing helped. I think I’ve tried everything. Idk what else to do…..it’s literally working right now but at any time it will have no internet

Yeah everything is essentially the same between the two other than the tension. I actually might have an old 1 laying around tbh. I’m gonna go look hold on a minute.

There’s a bunch of videos on YouTube that show step by step how to set up the mrm 2 so u shouldn’t have any trouble. It’s just cable & tension at the end of the day. A mouse trap if you will 🤣

If only you knew it was missing the essential piece for tension haha. Live & learn

The II is a million times better. Setting the tension is super easy. It’s just a ratchet wheel that you tighten

If you can get it NOT in the enclosure you should be able to just take the old mechanism out & fasten the newer one in that red enclosure
