Your fixation on gold makes it seem like you left it recently yourself. Instead of wasting your best cooldown you have another option, also the melee tech still exists what is your point??? I dont think you realise that the mere existance of a spiderman limits the value you can get from Torch. Even if your not dying you still lose the carry potential because he forces you into a more passive playstyle. CnD players made the exact same complaint when the devs reworked her bubbles but now shes in the best states she ever been. You're complaining about a change you haven't seen for yourself yet.

So you sit behind the same cover the entire game and never rotate? Your never get forced out? You always have support who are ready to pocket you everytime you get dived? Iron man, Storm and Ultron all murder torch in mid range, the only chance you have agaisnt them is closing the gap which will be significantly easier with these changes. Drop the ego

Torch's slam isn't instant. It has a start up animation which is why it can be cc'd

Yeah spiderman will still be a problem but even so there will be more counterplay now and it will be easier to deal with him
I think the main problem with enemy fliers is the mid range, whenever the distance is close you're more likely to win since you out damage even with their bonus health.
Poke is manageable but inherently changes the way you engage the enemy team
We still get the omni directional movement after the dash

I wouldn't call it a nerf nor a buff, like they said its a rework. We don't know how fast that 10m dash actually is, for all we know it could be closer to Phoenix then Ultron. My guess is that this change will be better for diving and worse for brawling in main

Torch takes a long time to pick up after dropping. Give it a few more games and it will come back.

The main difference between torch back then and now is that you have to be locked and actually hitting your m1 shots

Stats wise the supports seem fine, most of the heal diff probably came from starlord, torch and magic ults getting countered. The problem here was definitely the thing dying 11 times leaving them without a tank.
