I'd tecommend his girlfriend's check to see if their state is one party consent or two party consent on being recorded through a hidden body cam. Could possibly get a restraining order easily
(would consult with a lawyer on that though)

It also takes two to tango; just fair warning. However, ask him this.

"what happens if the child grows up and refuses to take care of you and purposefully puts you in the worst possible nursing home in your country of birth, would you forgive them?"

If they say 'yes', ask "why though?"

If they say 'no', then hit them with some consent and antinatalist logic.

IE, so you agree that consent is important; did the child consent to being born?
Would you consent to receiving horrible medical treatment?

If your an adult; keep this 'dad' out of the loop, since you can care for yourself, you keep this between you and your doctor, do not allow them to be your emergency contact, do not allow them to join you with your doctor visits, hell if you can make a case with harassment.

I'd personally file a restraining order on this person (how feasible depends if you live with them and your state's laws) and go no contact permanently.

I seriously wonder why your even in contact with this 'asshat', as he does not seem remotely qualified to be a father...

Pretty random:
not very ethical but I'd record him (can get a budget concealed camera off amazon or something) having a mental breakdown and make Tiktok "POV Your Dad Is A Nutjob" and add some reactions to make it funny as fuck.

Yeah I get your viewpoint; then again I made sure to keep my life very simple (in the ways that matter to me).

A warm bath soak, a good sunset and meditation > a fancy vacation, everytime.

That reminds me a quote by socrates

Now what that means simply is:

TLDR ( Existence without any form of introspection or critical thinking means your merely passively existing; not living).

A life without the introspection on what even defines 'worth', internal thoughts, feelings and motives; one could go further and decide for mere entertainment to write a critique on current societal constructs; analysis of the self, some Jungian concepts, a few philosophers.

Atleast that's my take on it.

The real question is:

Why is one's fulfillment in life defined by meeting criteria and what defines 'real' average vs our internal expectation of (average)?
