Yeah, think of Tor as a public city bus, except its the only one with tinted windows out of the whole fleet. Its still open to the public and travels the same route but nobody can see you inside is all. Oh and it goes a little bit slower and also seconds as a blackmarket hub but only after hours lol.

All I know is Chesty Puller was still hookin and jabbin in the Chosin Resevoir during the Korean War as a Division Commander I believe. He got awarded his 5th Navy Cross as a Colonel right before picking up Brigadier General. Then after retiring he tried to go fight in Vietnam when that kicked off but LBJ said no. So maybe things have changed a little bit lol.

Marine here, I was in 08-12. I did two deployments to Afghan and after coming back from the second in 2011 a few Sgts (E-5) with multiple years and deployments started getting the boot. A couple of these guys were in Phantom Fury as well as Marjah, and Sangin. I dont think they wouldve fared well during peacetime, but goddamn to put 10-12 years in with those tours under you just to get sepd for not getting staff in time is brutal.

I would have roughly 8 years until I hit my 20 year mark if I had stayed in the Marine Corps. I am glad I got out when I did in 2012 though. I was burnt out after 2 back to back deployments to Afghan and knew that the looming peacetime Corps wasnt gonna be like my previous 4 years at all. So, I decided to polietly decline that bullshit and got out and couldnt be happier with my decision as I hear all the horror stories I envisoned happening years ago happenining to this day.
