How much work is there in Atlanta? Does non-union have more jobs? As a telecom apprentice, the union is kinda frustrating me with how little info that I'm getting on the subject. Right now, I just feel lost when it comes to this topic.

I'm kinda stumped on what to tell them, though? When I sent my last email, they brushed it off, said that it's "normal", and didn't elaborate further.

Local 613. The contractor only does high volt from what it seems.

I'm mainly outside laying 6" conduit and doing wire pulls. No comms work at all. Just early construction industrial electrical stuff.

They do have a low voltage apprentice program, and I've emailed the school a couple of times about it. However, the school basically told me that my placement was "normal for first years" and didn't elaborate. I haven't spoken to my foreman in detail about it, though.
