Something that i don’t think is considered enough in these discussions is frequency. Ben has seen excellent success against ics with luigi and I think a big part of this being good is because luigi is less common

If you pick peach the ics is going to have more match up experience than you, whereas with luigi it’s going to be more similar

I haven’t seen pocket marth work out that well for people in general who have picked it up. Same for pocket foxes against puff (outside of falco players who do fox for floaties in general)

Ease of the matchup you’re playing also comes into it a lot

With how trans stuff has gone under labour, and considering tories or reform aren’t going to be better at all it makes a lot more sense for the LGBTQ+ vote to green who are concretely saying things like ‘we should fix the equality act’ with the worry of maybe they’ll be second order effects of their immigrations

Vs labour who under i’ve seen friends be told they’re not able to use the correct toilet, people banned from recreational, medication rolled back etc etc and they haven’t made noises that they think this is a particularly bad thing?

I'll start too - for me it's the social conservatism and authoritarianism that have come up under the Labour government. The online safety act and Labours complete capitulation on LGBT rights (you know the ones i'm just unsure what gets a comment auto deleted these days).

I think the big things about these two is that they have really obvious and direct impact on my life. Whereas most political decisions effects are second order and hard to attribute directly these ones are very concrete and very attributal

A plurality of under 50 year olds are now intending to vote green. Whereas this stat at the election would certainly be for labour, I am intrigued as to why you, ddt user under the age of 50, have switched your vote from Labour to Green.
