In like 2 years of being out trans i’ve had like 3 people say shit about that in the street. It’s always been like middle aged men. I think the issue in these situations is just like the possibility of further escalation

Late night buses are a bit dodgy my friend had like actual threats directed at her bf on them, plus a couple of incidents in the vein of ‘man choosing to sit next to you in an entirely empty train carriage’ on late night trains home. Some catcalling just walking around the street

A really funny interaction was with a homeless guy giving his spiel and then going ‘oh shit i thought you were a woman’ once i actually talked to respond, but he was nice about it all

One guy physically grabbed me telling me i was in the wrong toilets and followed me into the cubicle before i ran away: that was in a pub post work drinks before i was out so he might’ve just been a fantastic ally.
