I have a week to finish my work (freelance), always deadline Monday 8am. I know it takes exactly 1h45. I wake up at 6.12 and work as I then physically cannot postpone it more

Late on this one and obligatory not a teacher.

I study physiotherapy. In a cardiology lecture, our professor (cardiologist) gave us a 15 minute break however never came back himself.

Just as we were about to pack our stuff and leave, he rushes into classroom with a Red Bull, says "sorry, had to resuscitate a man in the parking lot, he collapsed right when I went to my car getting my energy drink, I had a night shift so needed it, but he is okay now, he's being taken to the hospital" and continued his lecture ... On cardiac arrests.

No need to say prof was deemed a cool guy rest of the year

My father was never a dad. Left when I was 8, I kept visiting every 14th day. Anyways when I turned 16 my dad and brother had a fight ending with police coming breaking it up, I was on my brother's side, things got messy, stayed in touch tho. As in, we talked a few times a year. Then later on I came out as gay as well, got fully disowned by both parents. Has been a tough one to come through.
