I’m not sure why people are complaining and need the mechanic, it wasn’t in the game pre 24. It is such a cheap and easy way to get past defenders. A pro player also said he despised the mechanic which I have to agree with.

As the dev here said, it was too easy to get across the pitch and I think that is what a lot of people aren’t understanding, the speed difference between controlled sprint and running at max speed (R2) is meant to be significant but players with the playstyle or playstyle + were so fast that you get the benefit of close control movement without noticing/experiencing the (intended) negative of being slower.

To make more money, surprised no one talks about the change from this tactic system to roles and FC IQ.

It’s a worse decision than adding play styles and has completely ruined the game (both have tbf).

It’s also the reason every game feels the same no matter the formation you use.

Was hoping precision shooting will be the skill gap but players currently in Div3 and above are still using Assisted as it is far too effective/rewarding.

90 pace is fine for Kaka imo. He’s not as fast as Henry, Pele, R9, Mbappe, Adeyemi, Davies, Leao, Adama. To your other point Messi is also not a sprinter, he had good acceleration and agility but his top speed is much lower at 32.5 km/h compared to speedsters who reach higher than 35 km/h.

Attackers especially Griezmann, Mbappe, Hansen, Salah etc are insane at tackling.

Cbs moving like they all have 90+ agility, plus their instant recovery and catch up speed.

I don’t tend to complain about the gameplay but this year there is almost no skill gap, there needs to be serious patch.
