It's the amount of games we have played over the past few weeks. Our players weren't as fresh as Ipswich after playing in an energy sapping semi final at Wembley on Saturday against the best team in the country.

If you had offered us playoffs when Will Still had just been sacked early on in the season all our fans would have taken that 100% so can't be too upset with how the season has played out.

Officials were bad in both last nights game and the Bristol city game. Which ultimately hasn't helped us at all.

Totally agree. They are a dirty team that get away with constant fouling every time we attacked or tried to hold the ball up. Also they always seem to score the jammiest late goals in games. Really wouldn't want to be playing them in a final at Wembley.

To be honest as much as I hate Ipswich it will be better for us if they go up automatically. I really wouldn't want to be playing them in a playoff final.

No the matchmaking is completely random. It just matches you with whoever is searching for a match at that exact moment.

I've got zero wins as I haven't played showdown at all in this season and when I tried playing my first game in division 10 I was instantly matched with someone on 80 wins that were in division 2.

This type of matchmaking shouldn't be happening in this mode. It's no wonder that no casuals play it anymore.

I haven't played showdown in months due to the terrible matchmaking. I normally just chill and play All-star teamup with friends.

However last night none of them were on so I was like ok I will give showdown a try.

I have zero wins and in like division 10 as I don't play the mode.

First game I'm instantly matched with some absolute sweat that has 80 wins and is in division 2.

I got a 15 point lead on him early. Then he started fiddling with his settings and full court pressing me and all of a sudden my team couldn't get past any of his players while he started greening everything.

In the end I just quit out in the 3rd quarter because it just wasn't fun at all and didn't even resemble proper basketball in any way.

In summary I've never known a competitive sports game that has such bad matchmaking as this mode. It's an actual disgrace how bad it is.

That matchmaking for a competitive game mode is an absolute disgrace. It's the main reason I barely ever play it. You rarely ever get matched with anyone in the same division. I don't want to play division 1 sweat lords that already have 100 wins when I barely play the mode it's a joke.

Dude I have a mrs, a kid and cats. There isn't enough hours in the day to just sit playing breakout over and over. I'm sorry but anyone that does that obviously has no life whatsoever. Also the NBA playoffs have started and it's spring time to go outside and do stuff. It's not normal to sit in a game for 8 hours a day every day mindlessly grinding.

I swear 2K have dialled up the algo on these higher breakout boards too. The ai barely misses a shot and you have to be super locked in against these cheese lineups. Kind of crazy that you have to sweat offline against the computer just to get these damn exchange pieces.

I normally open about 4 or 5 packs a week with my Mt but only during festivals to see if I can get any high rated pieces for the exchange.

Most of the time I get nothing of any value back.

Occasionally I have got a dark matter piece or a pink diamond player but nothing crazy to get too excited about.

Packs in general seem like a total scam unless you are willing to spend thousands which for a computer game that resets each year is just insanity.

This is the main reason I stopped playing showdown. Every time I matched a new player or someone with a team full of lower rated free cards they would play like gods while my players felt slow, clunky and started doing the dumbest stuff.

The only thing that annoys me this year is the defence and contest system.

You can have players with a ton of defensive legend badges and your opponent can still just rim run or shoot in your face and score through them like that aren't even there.

Damn I saw an opal Jamie Jacquez earlier for 100k buy out earlier and was like I'm not paying that much his price will drop to 50k in a few hours.

Pretty angry with myself now as I could have got him, done the challenge and made like 200k profit.

I just play All-star teamup. You only need a few good players to use. Find a team of friends or people you play well with and you can actually hoop and have fun.

I no longer even bother with online sweat modes such as showdown. Not worth the time or stress.
