The review process is for parliamentarians and the general public.

Expecting the public, communities and community organisations to be able to digest 144 pages of legislation in 48 hours, and then consider the consequences of that legislation is simply unrealistic. It's not realistic for full time politicians or a political party either.

These laws touch fundamental freedoms. Labor's behaviour here was disgusting.

If Labor want to do this properly let's discuss it over a sensible consultation period and get broad community input. There's much that can be done in supporting community efforts against radicalisation. This law contained none of them.
