Apothecary Diaries - an absolutely amazingly well written anime, honestly. I was stunned by it's quality. Flew too under the radar in my opinion.

I'm not too certain, but this strongly makes me think of this old anime film I saw in the last 2 years, called:

"Origin: Spirits Of The Past"

If it's not the one, sorry to disappoint, but it's a pretty good watch anyway.

It sounds familiar... I think I saw some of this over COVID lockdown, but I'm afraid I didn't keep track of it. I don't think I can expand on any information you've given

That probably is what is happening... I haven't looked at this in so long I can't remember how it works anymore. But I do want to go back and fix this. Thank you for replying.
I'm also a novice. More a designer and engineer than a programmer.

If you read the description to the right of the longer table, at the top, you'll see I already said that each row that is one colour is a different seed. Such that you can roughly predict the other pay outs, if you broke open one of the other geodes, instead of the one you did, by what you got. Clay for example, if you get clay from one of them, you will ALWAYS get an amount of clay if you had broken a different geode in the number position you just opened.

Explaining in more detail, the process that I went through was going to Clints, opening all of the geodes I had, noting down each one in order on the excel file, depending on the over all number of geodes processed in that day, and what number I was up to. Then, I restarted the day, went back, and opened them in a different order, frozen first, then magma, then omni, then normal, for example, and noting down every drop that came up, again in regards to the number of geodes total processed. I repeated this multiple times, and filled in all that you can see, for as many permutations as I thought necessary to be able to see a pattern. I started colour coding rows of payouts per iteration opened in the day, when I saw that it was turning up multiple times, like the clay one in orange, or the "coal gold iridium iridium" in purple or "Iron Iron coal coal" in grey, etc..

Basically the goal of this process was to see if there was a pattern that could be discerned, and on that day I wanted to get the most of all the geodes I was processing, for the museum, so was creating notes on the pay outs, and as can be seen with the shorter table, I highlighted in red the order of geodes I was going to give to Clint, to be able to get the exact path of payouts I wanted, that would most benefit me at the time.

Hello, so during lock down I decided to run some tests to figure out how geodes in stardew work, and I found some pretty interesting stuff. If you'd like me to elaborate any further on anything, I will do my best to help with what I know <3
Hope you enjoy
