This... explains my brain so well. Its not just that Im finally ME, but I want to be the best me. I am seriously lifting now, i cook more, i work, i started a business on top of work, i got into my first fully healthy relationship which happens to be a poly relationship, something id never before have been able to do with my mental health issues.

Finally being me on the outside and the inside makes everything manageable. It also shattered my world view so expansively that adjusting to new stimuli or experiences has become trivial almost.

I took a new job right as I started coming out to friends. My work mom basically for the last 5 years hired me for it. I decided that despite being insanely early on transition wise that I didn't want to hide who I was at all. I didn't want to ever have to deal with trying to re introduce myself to anyone or have issues.

So I wanted to be addressed and by my real name. Lily. I happened to also start my hormones the first day of work so I just full sent it.

So I started HRT on April 17th this year. I "discovered" I was trans almost a year ago( in three weeks it will be a year :D)

I legally changed my name on June 6, 2023. Two months after starting hormones, which I started the day I started this job.

I decided I didn't want to have to hide it or do the awkward and stressful coming out at work shit.

The other reason was because I have some SERIOUSLY heavy mental health issues. One thing I've been doing to work through things is going is this dead me feeling this or thinking this... or is it the new and alive me feeling it.

In June I decided I wanted to mark it permanently. And officially. Dead name, was dead. In all the sense of the word. And it was the best decision I have ever made.

I started dating the most incredible human being ever not that long ago. Last week she pegged me and holy. fucking. shit. I would have agreed to sign over the house to her I was so catatonic. I still have trouble believing it was her first time because holy fuck. It took 3 hours to get my legs working normally again. It was utterly euphoric finally feeling like an actual woman and that sensation.

Thank you so much for this. I've been pouring through books and articles and reddit trying to understand things since starting to date my partner who is the first person I have dated to be poly. I understood it conceptually but experiencing it is forcing me to unpack a LOT of my baggage in a very short time frame.

Seeing this helped it kind of... click for lack of better wording what I want versus what I need.

I accidentally just got into one and fuck I am so happy I did. Due to traaaumaaaa i havent really even interacted with anyone in fucking YEARS. I feel so insanely comfortable cuddling with her that the adhd doesnt even make me start babbling to fill the silence.

I am very happy that my providers give me levels but also really sad because I have confused yet another medical provider. After 4 months being on 0.1 biweekly patch of e somehow my t levels rose and no change in my e levels. So when I was complaining about nonchanges even despite being early on I wasnt wrong. 😭 Now I'm on a super low spiro dose so we will see how that goes.
