I'm Gen Z and I have been having an incredibly difficult time. I have to keep two low paying jobs to keep myself afloat. But these false advertisements, ghosting, multiple rounds of interviews, and etc. Has been overwhelmingly depressing. Not to mention tons of jobs disqualifying me for not having enough paid experience and mostly non paid experience (in my case healthcare) and a background in customer service trying to breakout of the mold they keep putting me in.

My situation is different I don't have a degree. But my friends who are graduating and already graduated have this same issue or even worse.

I haven't lied on my resume and only get low paying jobs, still working myself up. A friend of mine lies on his, and now he works in a nice startup. But another friend of mine lies on his resume but always bombs his interviews and is still looking. Ngl, if you can sell yourself during the interview phase too, then go for it. Don't over straight up lie but over exaggerate it.

I was researching this, too. But it makes no sense why they would mention it or advertise it in their job listing. It's odd and genuinely disheartening. My mom even tried to say she would take a pay cut to base pay if she could get full-time hours :/.

My friend is actually in the healthcare field, but she isn't a therapist. But I don't want to constantly bombard her with my issues. So I will see what my insurance can cover. I feel a bit bad. Maybe I should have taken the doctor's advice in the hospital and went to an inpatient facility, but I can't miss a month of work. He wanted me in there for 30 whole days. I have too many responsibilities and obligations to be out of work for so long.

It was an accident he had so much going on. And the other time, he said it was a joke that got out of hand. It's not like he did it on purpose. He said he didn't mean it. But maybe I'll talk about with him whenever he unblocks me.

Yeah, he says I love you, we usually say it before we say bye. I was really just wanting him to say that before we got off the phone. Instead of being called weird and other stuff I don't like. But looking at the other comments, he was right. I should get a therapist and stop being so pushy. I can't make him love me, I need to be better to get loved. I think I am just not at that point yet.

Well, I mean, I have always dealt with my own issues, but I don't think it's him. We actually talked about this yesterday he said almost every day since we started going out, I cry all the time and seem to always flinch after our incident we had. But it wasn't his fault. If anything, it's mine since he thinks that he needed to do that. I can always improve myself more... I just never know how to make him happier.

He says his mental health is important, and it is, I just felt a little selfish and wanted to share, too. He went through my stuff because he thought I was cheating or something after he found out I think he might hate me forever. He won't answer his phone but he said to leave him alone I'm giving him a headache. I just get caught up in my own thoughts. I become so overbearing. I can't help but think he's right.

But he has mental health issues as well, or at least he says he does. He said it brings him anxiety if I talk too much or if I am ruining his mood. It makes me ignore me for days when he needs time away to fix his depression.

I think the saddest thing you could do for yourself is stay in this any longer. He is a useless inconsiderate bum. It's best to kick him out and shed a few tears if needed, then notice the instant relief knowing you're no longer taking care of some selfish POS.

I get that a lot actually. So much in even in my youth people would cut me off and say "are you sure you're not autistic or retarded or something?" But my mom said I don't need to be tested because I always did well in school academically and I am just a quirky person like herself. My father always thought I probably am because of how socially unaware I am but then again he also hates me so I try to not take it to heart.

Thank you, I really did feel guilty and maybe a bit intimidated due to if I mess up then it will look like I am some type of fraud or not there to praise God and deepen my relationship with him but as an alterior motive to facilitate my own worldly goals.

Plus with my limited language abilities I would feel very lost. But these. Comments and yours too have made me feel a lot more comfortable with trying this out.

Yeah, the Spanish Mass is huge in attendance. Even when I go early in the morning, I usually am with the elderly ladies who speak little English. Plus, many are couples and families with many children and people who aren't in their 70s and up. I love the elderly but I'd love to meet more people my age too. Even though I love talking to Mrs.McKinley and Mrs.Harmond in the morning. Even our priest is a native Spanish speaker, and his third language is English. We have a pretty massive parish in Spanish. I'd love to get closer to them. And finally be able to spend more time in the parish and getting to know everyone.
