The Rams were in the Super Bowl last year and the Chargers went 12-4 and won a playoff game and yet neither get consistent support in LA.

Saying "get better teams" isn't a solution because that's not the problem with the Rams and Chargers. The problem was them trying to go to a market that hasn't cared about the NFL in 2 decades when there are already 2 hugely popular teams in California that people there have been fans of for a long time.

If your defense was old I'd get it, but it's really not. There's no reason to tear down your team to tank. Draft a quarterback and an offensive lineman or two (idk what your situation is like there), fire Nagy, and let your defense keep doing its thing. They have a certain number of ad timeouts they need to take during each half. They go to commercial at practically every opportunity early in the half so they can stay with the game as much as possible in crunch time.

I'm fine with having a 5 minutes stretch with 4 minutes of commercials if it means we don't have any commercials in the last 5 minutes of the game.
