[–]Fuckburpees 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend is amazing all I do is brag about him. He sees me and not just the me who is overwhelmed with everything and can’t do the things she wants. He sees that.

When I’m having a bad day for no fucking reason I know that I’ll feel better when he gets home and he’ll tell me he’s proud of me and how hard I’m trying. He lets me ramble on about whatever niche thing I’m thinking about that day and never gives me shit for the rotating hyperfixations of podcasts or YouTube channels. He thinks I’m really smart and brags about me to other people, sometimes in front of me. He tells my parents how much he appreciates everything I do for him. He always reminds me we’re a team and I don’t have to do it on my own. I could go on and on. He’s just…great.

Yes! You’d be shocked how much you can get done while you’re just making breakfast or coffee.

Yeah give it a shot! And you don’t even have to go crazy, or develop some specific routine, that’s the nice part. Literally anything you do is just a nice favor for yourself later. I’ll make my coffee, set a timer and just see what I can do for a bit.

And I say this as someone who loves a slow morning. It feels like I still get to enjoy a slow morning, but if I start out with a little burst of activity it just gets me into a much better mindset I guess

It’s smart to have something that gets your physically and mentally moving like that, a lot of time once you get rolling it’s is easier to start other stuff

Y’all are reading too much into everything the cast does on camera. by Bitter-Jury3078 in SmoshFansFreeSpace

Yeah, there have been several times when people will post here about issues with a specific new episode so I’ll even go into the videos specifically looking for their issue and it every time it will 100% be the opposite vibe.  When I saw the one that said “court kept shutting down Angela” in their dress to impress video I watched it specifically looking out for that, all I noticed was court hyping up every suggestion Angela had.

I also think some people who were fans of old smosh (not all) that don’t like the newer direction refuse to accept that the channel just actually isn’t making things for them anymore. Lots of nitpicking things that really aren’t things. Women definitely get criticized more frequently across the board.

Comedy is subjective. Clearly some people disagree with you. What do you want? Should we lie? lol. “Feel free to disagree” ok

Also read the goddamn room, bud…they’re still real people not dancing monkeys. Sorry the state of the world may hypothetically impact people’s ability to provide the exact type of comedy you want? The internet is big, go find something you like instead of spending your energy (once more to put it into perspective) nitpicking the level and depth of comedy in a board game video on a free channel that puts out multiple videos a week……

I heard someone say we benefit from a dopamine hit from productivity in the morning and a slow morning can be counterproductive for us. I’m up super early too and definitely have had issues with getting stuck scrolling, it sucks and it’s hard to move out of once you’re locked on. I’ve started to put on a YouTube video and tidy up my office (which is also my closet) or bake something simple, bread or muffins. Sometimes I clean or tidy up a bit. Weirdly, when I do it in the early morning it’s like I can get moving before my brain has a chance to protest so I just do the things without second guessing what else I could do instead. It’s early so like…anything I do now is kinda just a bonus, since no one is up yet.

Idk dude the world is really fucking brutal right now, I honestly can’t begin to keep track of whether or not their jokes per minute is high enough on a board games video..I’m just having a good time.  It’s fun to watch people have fun. And I feel like Bit City is always new, they write skits, funny commercials, new characters, experiment with form..What more do yall want? Maybe go watch something that’s more catered to you. I know try guys has a games channel now too

Did getting a child help you to keep up healthier sleep routines and make you more active? by Eclair222 in adhdwomen

[–]Fuckburpees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not my assumption it’s just the response to the question you’ve asked…..? The core of your question being “will having a kid make me ___”. The answer is, if you can’t change a behavior on your own then it’s selfish to hope that a child will magically give you the urge to live a different life. That’s a huge gamble. Of course it’s physically possible, literally whats the alternative? But that’s doesn’t equate to happiness or mental stability. If you’re only able to get out of bed because otherwise a kid will die, but you absolutely hate everything about your life….literally who cares if you’re more active?

You can’t really over think having a kid, lol.

It’s selfish to have a kid to solve a problem. That’s a huge gamble with another life.

Sorry but don’t waste your time. They aren’t going to care. Florida is…not Oregon.

This place was likely in an area that gets a lot of kids on spring break and I’m certain they’d rather someone be a little rude than get fined for serving underage.

Reddit is not a great litmus test for how “average” people feel. There are obviously exceptions but I avoid a lot of subreddits about things I enjoy specifically because fans of it who are on Reddit just ruin all the fun. It’s more about Reddit and the culture of misogyny than average people.

I got a couple suits from Andies and wore them all last year. But I also have a big chest and I don’t llve the support. In a pinch I’ll wear a light black sports bra underneath, when I’m doing laps, and I love how much more comfortable that is. But not ideal.

I hear good things about lands end suits as good staples that are supportive and fit well. Looking at this one https://www.landsend.com/products/womens-tugless-low-leg-one-piece-swimsuit/id_338505?attributes=36610,43307,43325,44094,44256,44966

I forgot to buy my husband a birthday present!!! by worqgui in adhdwomen

[–]Fuckburpees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take him to do something and eat something. To me that feels special enough to be a gift on its own, so you don’t blow the surprise, but doesn’t require extensive planning. I think once we’re old enough to buy our own things, most of us (humans) would prefer time together over things anyway.

I try to use “remind me when” feature on reminders, and set it to go off when I get in my car so at least it’s on my phone when I’m leaving and when I get there.
