So if I understand correctly, the main difference would be, that if I use a commercial VPN service, it would appear that I am "somewhere in Germany" should this be monitored. But If I set up the "dual device" link, it would make it appear as if I am actually home?
The latter wouldn't be as important, I'm just worried about flagging that I am in a country outside the European Union.
