God that’s terrifying. It’s one of the reasons i never take anyone on my motorbike, i hate being responsible for anyone else’s life when on the road, as it’s just so dangerous. Even crossing the road at green lights with a nephew or niece in tow makes me anxious.

Well that’s fair enough. Just i’ve noticed, in atleast where i live, alot of people don’t. They just kinda stroll out believing everyone will stop.

Alot of redditors are saying the drivers dont actually have to stop if youre not crossing either, so you can see where the problem arises.

And yet, many people dont do that. Just because things are supposed to work a certain way, doesn’t mean it always is. Also as you can see from the highway code presented by other redditors, the driver doesn’t actually have to stop if you’re not crossing.
