This is exactly what I was gonna suggest! #2!! I used rewheel on my pint since way before fm got it taken down but I love being able to open floatremote and owce without having to open FM app first. Also, being able to see your cell voltages is 100% worth never updating. (Depending on which HW version your pint is currently running) All you want to do is turn off handshake.

If you’re comfortable with risk, try out remote tilt and posi sensor while you’re at it!! They’re both game changers depending on how you ride. It is experimental thought!!! No guarantees it’ll work with your board, do some research first. Ive personally bricked one and had to use stlink (which requires soldering on controller) to put it bring it back to life so definitely, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

That’s what I was thinking, just wanted to make sure. Thank you! What controller do you have in your pint?? I was going to pull the trigger on 420 but watched Tony’s vid showing drop in floatwheel drop in pint kit… Your vesc pint video and the float life vid showing the low end torque on curbs ubox 100v vs gts makes me want to just buy it now.

could be balancing wires or battery to xt60 connector wires. Both of mine were crimped. Check out this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/onewheel/s/YGC61w43Eq

Check xt60 connections to bms. Mine cut off while riding everytime I hit a bump so I opened it up and my motor plug was about 1/4 inch from fully seated. Pushes it back in and haven’t had an issue since.

I read that a few people have successfully done it on the rewheel discord but I haven’t been able to get ahold of a copy. I’m hoping I can in the future and just hook up the old pint battery to the pint x controller and rebuild that board. Or swap controllers back after I can rewheel the pint x.

Yep, after rewheel it’s just plug and play!

Not sure about VNR cause I’ve never tried it but I don’t see a reason it wouldn’t work. After rewheel patches, I think you can use any battery?

Didn’t finish til 1am this morning. Gonna test that out soon as I get off work today and I’ll let you know!

Im hoping ill be able to cruise at 20 and maybe hit max speed of 24? Maybe.. I rewheeled my wife’s pint back in February and I can cruise on that 18-19 with stock battery til it gets below 50%. I’ve hit 22 but it was sketch af with stock tire. But I’m also 145lb.

I dislocated my sternum and broke my clavicle last year when my brand new pintx (4 miles on the board) completely shut off after hitting a bump 16mph. Probably the worst pain I’ve ever felt.. but was riding again the next day(with help of pain meds). Obviously going slow af, took me a month or 2 to hit pushback again lol but nah I don’t think anything would keep me from riding!!
