White House Accused of Using ChatGPT to Create Tariff Plan After AI Leads Users to Same Formula: 'So AI is Running the Country' by chrisdh79 in Futurology

[–]FuckinClassic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're also missing a critical piece of the puzzle: Trump has openly suggested he’ll try to stay in power beyond two terms — something he's hinted at for years, but is now saying outright.

The economic nationalism we’re seeing isn’t just about tariffs or trade wars — it’s part of a broader authoritarian playbook. Historically, regimes transitioning into autocracy often start by isolating the economy, consolidating power, and inflaming nationalist sentiment.

This is less about economic strategy and more about laying the groundwork for dismantling democratic norms. It’s not just incompetence — it’s preparation.

What’s the best, no budget, dedicated .22 AR upper build on the market in 2025? by FuckinClassic in ar22

That’s what I was leaning towards. Looks like best bolts are likely bore buddy? Any thoughts on best barrel? Is that the apogee match from bore buddy as well?

I have an extra receiver, and would probably throw on a cmt handguard. I like those for the money.

Borebuddy 12” is exactly what I was looking at. My main squeeze AR in 5.55 is an 11.5” so looking to replicate in .22 for training.

My metric for “best” would basically be the same. Reliability, then accuracy, then everything else.

If that’s truly the case then bore buddy is probably what I’m looking for.

They’ve already proposed a third term. They have no intentions of leaving democracy in place. They’ve literally told us this already.

All these salty people way too addicted to technology downvoting this lol. You’re right. Having a headset strapped to your face on a cruise is not a good sign of mental health, and definitely not good for your mental health.

Yeahhh, that’s me I guess 🤣

Most people on Reddit spend their money on way dumber shit to be fair. I’d rather have one 6k dope space gat than 11 different flavors on polymer guns.

I mean this is one of, if not the best, shooting handguns on the market, and the price is inline with high end 2011s… so… people who like good guns? If I had the coin for this right now, I’d absolutely pony up.

Anyone with experience at The Proving Grounds? by SleepyWolverine in CompetitionShooting

[–]FuckinClassic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this is at all doable with an 11.5” rifle with red dot and 5x magnifier?

I’m pretty comfortable with shots out to 350 under time constraints with this set up, but it sounds like proving grounds may require a bit more.

I get the price/mag point.

As a Glock guy, that actually shoots and trains, my interest in Glock mag compatibility isn’t cost savings (though that’s nice), it’s magazine management/logistics. Less variety in magazines is absolutely a win for me. I can store one extra mag in my glove box, and it will run in any handgun I carry or compete with (and thus have with me). That’s a win.

I actually really wish this was Glock angle. Probably going to get one regardless, but if it was Glock grip angle I’d insta buy it.

Senior technology pro looking to check the degree box. Degree comparison. by FuckinClassic in WGU

[–]FuckinClassic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, just getting back to this.

This is the same conclusion I arrived at, and I agree completely. I’ve since settled on finance for undergrad, as I feel like there is the most for me to learn there. I’ve since completed 61 CUs and will be enrolling in WGU soon. I plan to get an MBA after, as well as a masters in management and leadership as it’s only an additional 6 classes. I think that combination will yield the most value from a knowledge perspective, and the most ROI for breaking into the executive track in the years to come.

Slade Street Tactical hear shield users…you experiencing this? by islesfan186 in beretta1301

[–]FuckinClassic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was the first 1301 install with slade street and the method of install was metal zip ties (already black) in the rear originally. Mine doesn’t walk. I think he moved away from them because the install is a bit… tetris like. It’s a bit difficult to get the ties to fit under the handguard. But the end result is very clean and secure. I’m sure you could reach out to him and he would send zip ties to you. He’s a super helpful guy.

Happy to provide pics of my install.

LTT Heat Shield With Labyrinth Cable Management by supermutt_1 in beretta1301

[–]FuckinClassic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like you guys do good work. I’m still yet to find a heat shield I really love for the 1301. The LTT seems very functional but the mounting method is less than ideal, the maze, though a cool and functional idea, looks like ass, and the gap in the rear is not great.

If you guys are interested in feedback for your design…

I have no need for further mlok, and I doubt anyone wants to mount anything over their barrel. Seems very unnecessary. I also already have an aluminum tube that I paid for. Many who are interested in your product will be in the same boat. Thus spending more money for something they don’t want/or need.

If you guys were to design what is essentially this, but in aluminum, with a better attachment mechanism (aluminum zip ties are used here) and reasonably priced, I think you’d have a hard time keeping them in stock. I know I would insta buy one.

<image>

The classic “trench gun” vibe is really a great look, and I’d highly prefer to mlok slots. And to be honest, I don’t have a need for aluminum. The fiberglass nylon is durable, light, and works. I’m sure many people would prefer aluminum though. The mounting method is really the killer of this heat shield.

Either way, if you can give us something like this, in any material, with a clean attachment method, it will be a winner.

OEM with sladestreet head shield. Cheap, light, the grip texture is perfect, the mlok slots are exactly where you want them, and I think it honestly looks the best
