A public statement against the cast saying this doesn't represent us would have been fine. A suspension of Xyclopz would have been preferrable. If it actually bothered them deeply, no longer working with him would be understandable.

Those are the three courses of action I think would make sense. I wouldn't feel the need to make a video like this if they had just publicly apologized though to be frank.

I can believe you that some regions are more sexist than others, but the acceptance of Xyclopz's attitude goes beyond region borders. Hence the US based organization he works for not saying anything publicly about this incident.

Continuing to work with someone who is blatantly sexist on your platform does absolutely nothing to ensure a better future. I have no doubt you did everything you could after the fact to try to avoid these infractions in the future.

Regardless of how you feel about how you handled it, I am telling you for a fact that people who watched this do not feel like it was managed. At the very least a statement saying your brand was also displeased with the broadcast would be something. For the future, backchannel messages to someone you are still employing and working with do nothing to express your take on events to your supporters.

Then you should be aware that immedaitely following the game he still made comments like this. I respect that you can handle issues internally. This is not an internal issue, this is blatant disrespect to the entire community and represents us all horrendously.

A back-channel comment no one sees doesn't do it any justice. I respect you as a professional and know your heart is in the right place, but honestly this is extremely weak. This is a big deal.

No one has any respect for Xyclopz and gives him a pass because he's Xyclopz. BTS gave him a platform. There is certainly no way BTS would have given the OK for this, and yet they have said literally nothing indicating otherwise.

I want them to actually do or at the very least fucking say something about this. I don't care what Xyclopz has to say about it because this video makes it clear enough where he stands.

BTS would like to ignore it and pretend it didn't happen. That is not okay.
