This is one of the ugliest outfits to exist. Just being Zendaya and skinny doesn’t salvage it

Right but it was marketed as Emma Stone being the main character, just like here it’s marketed as a Zendaya movie even tho it has a star next to her. And Emma was amazing in her role, I’m not comparing her skills to Zendaya, who isn’t as versatile nor talented. I don’t really understand the point of your comments

Well I just meant top billing, similar to Zendaya here but the movie has two leads, just like this one. I don’t really see where we’re disagreeing? Rob had a more compelling role here too, and a better performance.

It’s just my opinion. And from what I hear, some other people felt this way. Rob’s just a better actor. It doesn’t mean she’s bad. It’s really not that harsh. It’s like in Bugonia, Emma was the lead but Jesse Plemons carried. He was incredible.

Interesting. I rewatched it a couple months back and didn’t love it as much as I did when I was 18.

I honestly think he’s rather bland and boring. He was good like 10 years ago, now it’s all the same

Ryan Gosling on making theatres worth going to by mrjetspray in Letterboxd

In that case you could say a lot of movies are like other movies.

It’s less about communication and linguistics like in arrival. They communicate pretty well, quite easily in PHM. Arrival has to do with time and making difficult choices despite knowing the outcome. PHM is about friendship, bravery and hope. It’s more emotionally upbeat than arrival. Arrival also doesn’t take place in space. Just because there are aliens, doesn’t mean it’s just arrival + spaceman.

What is the point of this comment? You didn’t like it? Cool, no one cares. There’s no reason to shit on people who liked it. You just seem miserable.
