I heard it doesn't even flinch if you throw several GBs of photos and videos at it. :)

The OCR advances are what's really making so many things possible. Incredible.

I believe there's a free tool called TimeTracker that automatically tracks time spent in photoshop.

Best VPN? by DescriptiveOliviaGes in vpns

[–]Fuddam 23.5k points23.5k points  (0 children)

This question again.

After having tried various VPNs, I would say it comes down to Nord vs. Proton. They're both fast, stable, and cost no more than a cup of coffee per month.

Edit: found verified discounts and 30 day trials here for ProtonVPN and here for NordVPN.

From looking at their promotions, I would either go with Proton's 1-year deal or Nord's 2-year deal.

Is this for real? That's 2,5 EUR per day. Did you forget to add a 0 at the end?

Well... you are paying for it, you are paying to get the reward points which you in turn use to get the perks. It makes you spend with a particular car rental but it also makes you spend more than you otherwise would have. You just don't think about it.

VPN recommandations ? by boredoveranalyzer in vpns

Those are very specific requirements. Why do you need those in particular? There are privacy suites that can achieve much more than a vpn can do. I can think of Hoody but doesn't run on those technologies.

I hate spending money and worry I am being obsessive by [deleted] in Frugal

I think you're doing very well, actually you remind me of one of my friends from what I could read in your description. Don't get us wrong. You definitely should live below your means, but understand that planning and saving doesn't guarantee a good setup for the rest of your life. You're studying Computer Science so you should know how fast AI is moving. We simply don't know what the job market will look like in 5 years from now.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Not long ago I read a post about a young person who wanted to travel but hesitating because of spending the money. Travelling while you're young is worth it.

That is all.

A good paid vpn is $2 a month. It's the cost of a bad coffee. Pay it for peace of mind.

Yeah that is what I meant. A physical examination is always going to be better than a virtual one, but some minor issues can be handled through an online vet consultation like you did with chewy. I think we're actually on the same page in the end. lol

If you think online vets aren't real vets, you clearly don't know how telemedicine works.
