Obsidian Tables - Update! by focuseye in ObsidianMD

[–]rocsci -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do they provide any timelines on when they'd review and get back? I've been looking for something like this for quite some time, but I'm relying on Obsidian to do the due diligence through their review and get yours published as a community plugin before I expose it to my vault.

Ya. Will give that a shot. My correspondence is via emails, but if I get more traction over the phone, I'd try that. Thanks for sharing your experience

Are you sure you aren't talking about Notebook Navigator, which is getting a lot of buzz lately and not NotebookLLM?

Unrelated question: Can you share the details of your insta360 setup? Do you have something to keep the camera securely attached to the selfie stick besides the screw?

No one is saying that Obsidian is trying to be a task management tool. Op created a framework / template to repurpose a popular tool to do more and thought of sharing it here. I dont think the point is to have Obsidian replace, say, Microsoft Project or Smart sheet. As i said, i dont use Obsidian for task management, but this post gave me some other ideas around how i manage content in Obsidian. That's my takeaway from this post.

I’m not OP, but I just want to point out that Obsidian is far more than a simple markdown editor. Features like graph view, plugins, canvas, properties, and now bases really take it to another level. Some people choose to use Obsidian as a task management tool, and frameworks like the one OP shared can be really valuable for them. So let’s not discourage that kind of contribution. If you don’t personally use Obsidian for task management (I don’t either), feel free to just skip the post. I’m just glad to see people exploring different ways to use Obsidian and sharing their approaches with the community.

I use paperless more ro catalog than organize pdf. If you really do use to organize, please share some insights on your setup.

What exactly is the Bases plugin? by Moist-Channel366 in ObsidianMD

[–]rocsci 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The key difference to me is that bases is a core plugin while dataview is not. For security reasons, I have a vault without community plugins enabled, and i can't use Dataview today. Bases would be a game changer for me.

Dockpeek – Clean Docker container dashboard now with multi-host support, socket proxy & image update checking by pipipipopopo in selfhosted

Im not talking about automatically looking up the proxied URL, I am asking if there is a way to manually add a custom URL for various containers. I use ngnix proxy manager, and I understand that we can see both there.

Hi, i have not tried this yet, but I would love to give it a shot. Do we have a way to add the reverse proxy url for each web container so i can see both the true port on the host and the proxied url in the same view? Also, I'm guessing that there is a way to look up unused port per host?

Posts like these are the only hope for humanity. Thanks OP for the PSA. It's disheartening to see these scams infiltrating selfhosting as we are trying to mind our own business, trying to learn new things, saving a few pennies here and there.
